We all are celebrating children day today and children are our future of the nation and representive of the coming generation. Our ISKCON founder Acharya H.D.G Srila Prabhupda was very much concern about children and always request to the parent to take care of their children nicely. On this day, here we are sharing few of the Srila Prabhupda points on children. 1. Children are like blank slate, you can mold them as you like and they are eager to learn. 2. It is the duty of all parent to make their child Krishna Consciuosness so that fortunate child may not have to take birth in this material world again. 3. Parents teach their children using technology at an early age, similarly, Krishna consciousness should also start at an early age. 4. These are not ordinary children, they are Vaikuntha children and we can give them chance to advance further in Krishna consciousness. That is very great responsiblity, do not neglect it or be confused. 5. If you train a child in taking shelter of Kri...

Disciplined Life Vs Undisciplined Life

Sometimes we feel if there is no authority upon us then we can have a free and personal life and no one can interfere into my personal interest. A disciplined life seems to be very much boundary around us but if we see it might be little difficult in initial phase but once we used to be in discipline it gives us inner strength and positive way to live a healthy life, for example waking up early in the morning in academic period seems to very painful for every child but if a child regularly wake up then it becomes his habit and when he grow in his life he manage all his works on time. Because waking up early not only gives a good memory but also gives a healthy life one can manage his day very well. But if we see the child who do not wake up in the morning thinking I should sleep more and no one stop him to sleep then his life become miserable after certain time of period. He does not only disturb from his poor health but also he fail to manage his task as well. Because one who do not s...

End of Life Care!

From childhood to young age, from young age to mid age, from mid age to old age all the time we care about our life. But have we ever thought of what about after when we become too old and even we can not move from our own, can't eat from our own, can not speak much then who will be caring us and how? And even if in that situation we leave your body, what will be the next and which form of body you will get, are you sure to get human form of body? This is why you should be very careful from our childhood to maintain your consciousness to remember Krishna as Lord Krishna says in Bhagwad Gita 8.5 अन्तकाले च मामेव स्मरन्मुक्त्वा कलेवरम् | य: प्रयाति स मद्भावं याति नास्त्यत्र संशय: || 8.5||  And whoever, at the end of his life, quits his body remembering Me alone at once attains My nature. Of this there is no doubt. But it is not so easy to remember Krishna at the time of death, when we are not aware of how much pain we are going to suffer, and in what condition we will be, in what moo...

Happy 75th independence Day

The Bharat is known for its different culture,  traditions, rituals, and many more but still there was  integrity in diversity reason because of their goal was same. If we are focused on our goal then our role is no more important. And it is our responsibility to spread our own culture, spirituality and wisdom from our vedic scripture to others. On 13th of August 1965 Srila Prabhupada went to America before 57 years to give the same message to the Americans and the whole world what they lacking for. They were having lots of prosperity, opulence, freedom and many more but still they were missing peace and happiness in their life and that is the major necessitates of every human being, Srila Prabhupada taught them how to become happy and peaceful by accepting simple living and h...

There is also one difference in Lord Balrama and Lord Krishna, Lord Balrama is a serving Lord and Lord Krishna is master Lord. Lord Balrama always ready to serve Lord Krishna even though He is younger or elder does not matter. Why Scriptures are important in our life?

One person was debating, I do know everything how to live my life and I am very happy with it, why do I require any guidance from scripture. I asked him, do you keep your health check regularly? He replied, Yes! Of course I do. Then why do you go to doctor to check up your health regularly if you already caring of your diets and other things? I asked him. He replied, because doctor knows it very well and remind me if something goes wrong in my regular diet and ask me to correct it. I replied him, same way although we know everything, but when we accept scripture in our life it reminds us time to time when we forget something. Finally he agreed and accept, yes it is true we can't remember everything at a time but when we read scripture regularly then it reminds us what to do and what not to do. Srila Prabupada used to quote to their disciples, If you read my books regularly you will never fall down, my books will always protect you. One should understand the importance of our Vedic ...
