Vedic Siksha

Instead of forgiving someone we think if I punish to the person will be the geat revenge and I will be more happy then, but when we punish someone we not only lose of our own peace and happiness but also lose the person for life long whom we punish. There is a very nice incident about forgiveness in Srimad Bhagwatam (3.8.9) even the person is capable enough to punish to the others. But instead of punish he accept forgiveness and that is why we are remembering him now for his great act. The great sage of the name Pulastya is the father of all demoniac descendants.
