It is often seen people are not much worried about there own desires and ambitions but when they see others desires getting fulfilled but they are unable to fulfill there own desire they become envious towards others. Being envious towards others is the biggest problem of today's world. It is sometimes acceptable we do  not have something but it is never acceptable if that things belong to our neighbour. Diti was in the same condition, she goes to sage Kashyapa Muni and asked to fulfill her desires while Kashyapa was performing yagna that time.
