Laziness is the biggest obstacle in our success

People only talk about success but they never try to see reason behind it, how people get success in their life? Successful people never give any excuse to avoid anything in their life but failure people always search for excuses to not to do anything. If we go to root cause of it, we find laziness is the biggest obstacle in our success, we always try to postpone the things for next time and that next time never comes in our life. Most the time our mind tell us, be relax don't worry there is so much time to do that thing and we comes under control of mind. And the same mind says after some time, come on do it fast time is running out. If we take example of Hanuman ji, he never showed laziness towards his duty. When he jumped from mountain to Lanka, Mainak (mountain) told Hanuman ji to relax for sometime and then go but Hanuman ji humbly said, no,  I have no time for relax until I won't finish Lord Rama task. And that's the reason Hanuman ji known as a very lovable devotee o...

Bhishma Panchak-Devotion towards Krishna from Bhismadeva.

It is mentioned in all Vedic scriptures Kartik is the holiest month in all and who offer ghee lamp to Lord Damodar receive pure devotions from Lord KRISHNA.  The last 5 days of the month of Kartik are traditionally known as the Bhishma Panchaka.  It is considered Grandfather of Kurus Bhismadeva fasted for these five days, preparing to give up his life. It is also mentioned Bhishmadeva observed the fast which is very difficult to a normal human beings.  He only are cow products in all five days. First day he ate only cow dung then cow urine,  Panchamitra and finally cow made products. Although Bhishmadeva was booned by his own desired death but he promised he will leave his body when Lord Krishna will be infront of him.  Bhishmadeva was a very pious and great devotee of Lord, only a great devotee of Lord can suffer that much pain as he suffered so much pain on arrow bed from Arjuna. But he didn't say to Krishna, why I am suffering? He already knew it, it is Krish...

Scientific Knowledge does not help building character

There are so many schools and colleges are providing knowledge about science and technologies but they are failed to build character and competency in youth. The more we get knowledge of science and technology more we are going away towards character building because it makes us arrogance, egoistic and envious. We all need advancement of science and technology that is good for our material advancement but at some extent we must accept the truth also these things can never build our character. Science can give only material comfort but not mental satisfaction. That is why we see people working in big corporate and multinational companies are always frustrated and take help of intoxication and illicit relation to get out of it. Here we need spiritual science and that comes from Bhagwad Gita, which helps us to deal with depression and frustration. Depression comes if we don't have anything and frustration comes if we have everything. So, how to be keep our-self happy in both the situa...

Never puffed up with pride

Often we puffed up by false ego in influence of illusion and start thinking I am on top of all. But our Vedic scriptures are full of these types of people who thought, I am the one who control the world but they are no more now. We have to be enough intelligent to say no to Maya because Maya is so powerful, sometimes it just give you very attractive way to get into the trap of it. Here is the story of one young boy, who earned name, fame and wealth in very early age (around 26 years) and thought, why should I be under control of anyone, I have enough money I can take my own decision what to do and what not to do? In the influence of false ego and pride, he started rejecting good advice from his relative and friends and got into bad association. He was not aware even what he is doing, he started taking alcohols and when he visit any hotel or restaurant he never took amount back he always used to say, keep the change with you. Slowly-slowly time comes in his life, when he lost everything...

World Children day: message to all parent

We celebrated world children day on 20th Nov 2020, but children are not just for a single day. They are our future and they must be treated in such a way to get a good education, discipline, responsibility and culture. Srila Prabhupda started Gurukula in foreign country although he built so many temples over there but He knew, children can not be neglected, they must get good education. And Gurukula is the only system where a child can nourish properly.  Children are like a wet mud, if we shape them in very early age as Prahlad Mahraj has already stated in Srimad Bhagwatam: श्रीप्रह्राद उवाच कौमार आचरेत्प्राज्ञो धर्मान्भागवतानिह । दुर्लभं मानुषं जन्म तदप्यध्रुवमर्थदम् ॥ 7.6.1 ॥ Prahlāda Mahārāja said: One who is sufficiently intelligent should use the human form of body from the very beginning of life — in other words, from the tender age of childhood — to practice the activities of devotional service, giving up all other engagements. The human body is most rarely achieved, and alt...

Four types of people take shelter of Krishna

In this world people take shelter to many authority but who is little intelligent and understand the real process of shelter take shelter of Lord Krishna as Lord Krishna has already stated in Bhagwad Gita: चतुर्विधा भजन्ते मां जना: सुकृतिनोऽर्जुन । आर्तो जिज्ञासुरर्थार्थी ज्ञानी च भरतर्षभ ॥ 7.16 ॥ O best among the Bhāratas, four kinds of pious men begin to render devotional service unto Me – the distressed, the desire of wealth, the inquisitive, and he who is searching for knowledge of the Absolute. These four types of people are:  Distressed: Who are in trouble and thinks no one can help them to get out of that situation take shelter of Krishna. For example when Draupadi saw Pandavas are unable to help her from being harassed by Dusashan she immediately took shelter of Lord Krishna.  Desirer: Who need some material benefits, When Dhruva Maharaja got insult from her mother, he desires to achieve more than wealth from Lord Brahma and went to forest for penance. He ruled for 3...

Wish you all a very happy & prosperous Dhanateras

Our festival in India has a deep meaning of it, how we celebrate and what is the reason behind it?  If we talk about Diwali festival it starts from Dhanteras and 5-day celebration.  On the Dhanteras day we only worship Mother Lakshmi devi and seek Her blessings, especially in form of wealth. The word “dhan” means wealth.  We think Dahan means only Laxmi Devi and  Dhanteras is only for worshiping Lakshmi devi, the goddess of fortune.  However, this is not a complete understanding. Dhan-Teras, or Dhan triodashi, is also the day when Lord Dhanvantari appeared. This is why it is also known as Dhanvantari triodashi, which is the thirteenth lunar day of Krishna paksha. Lord Dhanvantari is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu who appeared, during the great churning of the cosmic milk ocean, with nectar pot, and who later gave the knowledge of medical science known as Ayurveda to mankind billions of years ago. Medical science advancement base is Lord Dhanvantari, who gave us h...
