I would like to wish you all on this Guru Purnima, this is mentioned in our Vedic Scriptures that Guru is the only one who make a living being to true human being. Without Guru no one is capable enough to cross this ocean of darkness in this world.
It is mentioned in Srimad Bhagwatam Lord Brahma considered to be the first living entities in this universe having four mouths were trying to find the truth but after his all efforts from long time he failed to do so then he accepted Lord Vishnu as his Guru.
Why we celebrate Guru Purnima?
Guru Purnima is an auspicious day of Srila Vyasdeva (Krishna Dwaipayan Vyas) appearance who is none other than Lord Krishna's incarnation, he is in the form of Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. that is why we see in the shloka while glorifying Srila Vyasdeva as;
गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णु गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरा
गुरुर्साक्षात परब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः।
Srila Vyasdeva is son of a great sage PArasara Muni and mother Satyavati, from his childhood he was very much interested to give a benediction to the human society which is endless.
In his young age he gave Vedas, Puranas, Upnishads, Mahabharat and Srimad Bhagwatam. For the welfare of human society to come out from the darkness sage Veda Vyas gave so many scripturas and if one keep little faith on it and take shelter of it then automatically he will get rid of cycle of birth and death from this material world.
We must pay gratitude towards Vyasdeva who not only uplifted human society but gave true knowledge to us and that is why he is considered to be the first Guru.
On this Guru Purnima we must pray at the lotus of our all Gurus and specially our Spiritual master who not only shower his compassion towards us but give a chance to serve Lord Krishna because until and unless we will not take shelter of Guru we can not reach to Lord Krishna.
I pray to my Spiritual Master, teachers, mentors, friends, and one who supported me for my spiritual growth and I also pray at the lotus of Lord Krishna and Smt. Radharani to give all of them a very happy, healthy and devotional life.
Happy Guru Purnima!
