International Yoga Day 2022

Wishing you all a very happy International Yoga Day 2022. The word Yoga means (to add) and that means if one create connection with Lord is known to be an Yogi.

Yoga is actually invention of ancient Bharata and our sages used to do it for building the connection with God and it can be done through GyanYoga, KarmaYoga, DhyanYoga and BhaktiYoga.

But the actual meaning of Yoga has been changed over the period of time and people started using the term Yoga to build their health even that is also good but it is not the ultimate purposes of Yoga.

If one has a beautiful car and he cleans it every day and show it to everyone but he never go for drive then does he using the car properly? Car is not for only show off purpose it's actual purpose get fulfilled when one go for drive.

Same way when Yoga became most popular in all across the world, people forgot it's actual use and started using to maintain their body only. But Yoga does not means to maintain only body but to control senses, mind and intelligence and render service towards Lord Krishna then it is actual Yoga else it is just something else.

Lord Krishna has already spoke in Bhagwad Gita 6.47 about who is the best Yogi?

योगिनामपि सर्वेषां मद्ग‍तेनान्तरात्मना ।

श्रद्धावान्भजते यो मां स मे युक्ततमो मत: ॥ 6.47 ॥

And of all yogÄ«s, the one with great faith who always abides in Me, thinks of Me within himself and renders transcendental loving service to Me – he is the most intimately united with Me in yoga and is the highest of all. That is My opinion.

If one just care of his body only and forgot to worship the supreme personality of Godhead who is the creator of entire universe and worshipable to all living entities is known to be the ungrateful and waste his life because our ultimate goal of life is to know the relationship with Krishna and if one become successful to know the Krishna is known to be the best Yogi.

Hare Krishna!
