How one can be happy in this world?

There are many formulas we try for being happy but unfortunately no formula realy works. Because we do not try to find out the root cause of it and until and unless we would not find the root of it how can we solve the exact problem?

If a person is feeling hungry and crying so much to get the food but people around him try to give so many things but no one try to ask what exactly he wants?

One may think why he is not stop crying? But an intelligent person go and ask him what is his real problem and try to give solution accordingly.

Same way only Lord Krishna knows the real source of happiness and He only can give us the formula for it and that is already mentioned in B.G. 5.23.

शक्न‍ोतीहैव य: सोढुं प्राक्शरीरविमोक्षणात् ।

कामक्रोधोद्भ‍वं वेगं स युक्त: स सुखी नर: ॥ 5.23 ॥

Before giving up this present body, if one is able to tolerate the urges of the material senses and check the force of desire and anger, he is well situated and is happy in this world.

There are the forces of talk, forces of anger, forces of mind, forces of the stomach, forces of the genitals, and forces of the tongue. One who is able to control the forces of all these different senses, and the mind, is called gosvami.

Only after controlling senses and mind one can be happy and peaceful internally.

Hare Krishna!

Nectar in the beginning but Poison in end

He was young and belonging from rich family, he entered into the compartment and seated next to me.  Long and stylist hair, branded watch on wrist, iPhone in hand but he was loosing his control. Started abusing someone on phone and shouting out very louder, people was looking at him.  He was fully drunken and started vomiting, people thrown out him out of train and he slayed down at platform. Story is not over yet, I was thinking is this our modern education we are providing to our children and in the name of facilities we are giving them huge money, branded gadgets, but being an guarding do we ever try to esquire what they do and, which type of association they keep?  Once these things comes in their hands they start thinking, no one is greater than me and due to false ego they disrespect elder people.  But one thing they forget, disrespecting elder people only harmful to them because elderly people only teach them morality and good lesson. And being an elder person...

Depression vs Satisfaction

There are two types of people live in this world, one who live a satisfied life and one who goes into depression when something goes wrong in their life. A satisfied person can stay happy all the time in any circumstances but a person who looks for sense pleasure and thinks sense objects is going to give happiness to me always goes into depression, if he does not get pleasure from an objects or person. And the secret of satisfactions is to see opportunity in every aspects whether it is success or failure. Many of us become happy when we get success but become sad when failure comes in our life. We must remember one thing, in our life success and failure is not going to stay forever with anyone. A very successful person has to face even failure sometimes in his life. A satisfied person knows it very well, that is why he does not goes in to depression for his failure but he learn from it and move on. A very beautiful quotes by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, "Don't read success stories, yo...
