Bhagwad Gita teaches us, renunciation from result not from action

While distributing Bhagwad Gita in a classroom there was one child who purposely said, Will your Bhagwad Gita help to pass my exam without studying?

I smiled after hearing his question although his question was in challenging mode but still it is good to clear his doubts.

I asked him, "Do you not complete your homework when you come to school next day and show it your teacher". But why sometimes your teacher gives your appreciation but sometimes not?

Student said, It depends on my teachers mood.

But if you do not complete your homework then? I said. Will you be punished or rewarded?

Of course I will be punished, student said.

Yes, then completing homework is your prime duty and getting appreciation from your teacher is not in your hand it is depend on teachers wish.

Same way reading Bhagwad Gita will help you how to work but it is not that after reading Bhagwad Gita you don't have to work.

That is the reason Lord Krishna taught Arjuna, my dear Arjuna do your duty honestly and keep yourself away from the result. As Arjuna wanted not to fight instead take renunciation from fight.

What is our duty we have to do it with full mood and devotion and never worry about its result what it will be. That is the complete message of Bhagwad Gita.

Because after the result sometimes we get happy and sometimes we get sad. But if we have knowledge of Bhagwad Gita then we already know it only action is in our hand not its result(fruit).

Hare Krishna!

Nectar in the beginning but Poison in end

He was young and belonging from rich family, he entered into the compartment and seated next to me.  Long and stylist hair, branded watch on wrist, iPhone in hand but he was loosing his control. Started abusing someone on phone and shouting out very louder, people was looking at him.  He was fully drunken and started vomiting, people thrown out him out of train and he slayed down at platform. Story is not over yet, I was thinking is this our modern education we are providing to our children and in the name of facilities we are giving them huge money, branded gadgets, but being an guarding do we ever try to esquire what they do and, which type of association they keep?  Once these things comes in their hands they start thinking, no one is greater than me and due to false ego they disrespect elder people.  But one thing they forget, disrespecting elder people only harmful to them because elderly people only teach them morality and good lesson. And being an elder person...

Depression vs Satisfaction

There are two types of people live in this world, one who live a satisfied life and one who goes into depression when something goes wrong in their life. A satisfied person can stay happy all the time in any circumstances but a person who looks for sense pleasure and thinks sense objects is going to give happiness to me always goes into depression, if he does not get pleasure from an objects or person. And the secret of satisfactions is to see opportunity in every aspects whether it is success or failure. Many of us become happy when we get success but become sad when failure comes in our life. We must remember one thing, in our life success and failure is not going to stay forever with anyone. A very successful person has to face even failure sometimes in his life. A satisfied person knows it very well, that is why he does not goes in to depression for his failure but he learn from it and move on. A very beautiful quotes by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, "Don't read success stories, yo...
