Responsibility - the seed of transformation

There were five students in a college they all were very much closed to their professor and professor was also very much impressed by all of them.

One very fine day professor called all of them and asked, I am going to be old now and I need one of you to help me in my daily activities, who will come for it?

Everyone was looking to each others and it was very silent but after a minute one student stood and told to professor, "Sir, I am ready to serve you please give me chance."

Professor smiled and told, But do you know it is a big responsibility on you, think twice before accepting it.

Student silently smiled and said to professor, "My dear professor till now you took our responsibility other wise we were nothing and now it's our time to take your responsibility."

My dear son, I was looking for the person who can take care of my position after me and you are the one I am very proud on you, professor said.

Rest four was feeling ashamed and they were thinking how big mistake we done by losing this golden opportunity.

Sometimes we think taking responsibility means taking a burden on head but when we take responsibility we become humble and learned because a responsible person has to go though so many obstacles and then it is the transformation of his life.

If one wants to transform his life, he must take responsibility. Without responsibility there is no life either he is a student, house holder, businessman or whatever.

A student has his responsibility to study honestly, obey his parent. A householder has his responsibility to take care of his family nicely and give them spiritual as well as material both the education. A businessman has his responsibility to run his business with morality.

Life is a preparation, death is an examination

We participate in so many exams in our life, and get the results as per our preparation for that exams. But most of the exams we have option, whether to attempt it or not? But there is one exam in our life which we may ignore saying we will see when it would come in our life, but we all have to attempt we don't have any choice, whether we are poor,  rich,  educated or illiterate. Srila Prabhupada used to say, this life is our preparation how we are preparing our-self for coming exam.  Because that exam has no prior time table, no time period, no grace marks, and no cheat sheet allowed. And you may be surprise to know, all our activities are recorded by Yamduta for our each and every moments with evidence. Yes, Yamduta will show your answer sheet and you can review it, whether he has marked you in correct way or not? You are successful, if you are passed your exams but if you are failed then you don't know when you will have to reattempt that exam (it could be after 84 laces bir

Depression vs Satisfaction

There are two types of people live in this world, one who live a satisfied life and one who goes into depression when something goes wrong in their life. A satisfied person can stay happy all the time in any circumstances but a person who looks for sense pleasure and thinks sense objects is going to give happiness to me always goes into depression, if he does not get pleasure from an objects or person. And the secret of satisfactions is to see opportunity in every aspects whether it is success or failure. Many of us become happy when we get success but become sad when failure comes in our life. We must remember one thing, in our life success and failure is not going to stay forever with anyone. A very successful person has to face even failure sometimes in his life. A satisfied person knows it very well, that is why he does not goes in to depression for his failure but he learn from it and move on. A very beautiful quotes by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, "Don't read success stories, yo

Be Humble - Time can change everything

When we get name, fame and power we puffed by the false ego and become arrogant to the people and think no one is greater than me. But our history says, who were arrogant, time has collapsed all of them. None of us can say, I can beat the time and can go against it. We all are under control of Time as Lord Krishna has already stated in the Bhagwad Gita (I am the time and eveything is under my control). But due to our false ego we do not accept this fact become arrogant with other people instead of becoming humble with them. Who was "King of Good times" now became "King of bad times", so easily we can understand time make us King or Beggar. So we should be always being humble with the people in our Good times and take blessings from them for our bad times, but we do exactly opposite of it, we become arrogant in Good times and seek for blessings in our bad times. But what is the use of it, when you hurt someone, you lose sympathy from that person's heart.
