Differences in opinion should not lead to destruction in relationship

Different-different people have different-different opinion it is not necessary that if two people belongs to same community or same family can have same opinion. One should welcome the opinion of each others and there should not be any destruction in relations due to differences in opinion.

From Ramayana, we can learn how to deal with if there are differences in opinion comes in our life.

When Vibhishana come to join Lord Rama, Lord Rama asked opinion from Sugriva the king of Kiskindha and Hanuman who is devoted to Him, what needs to be done, should we accept Vibhishana or not?

Sugriva advised, My dear Lord as you already know Vibhishana is younger brother of demon king Ravana and he must has come here to know the strength of our army, we should catch and punish him.

Lord Rama smiled and told Sugriva, My dear Sugriva if Vibhishana has come to know our strength, let him know all our strength. There are no demons in the entire universe can protect themselves from Laxman, he is capable enough to destroy them.

Lord Rama asked Hanuman, My dear Hanuman what is your opinion?

Hanuman with folded hand told to Lord Rama, My dear Lord I think Vibhishana is a very kind heart person and I have personally meet him in Lanka and without his help I was not able to destroy Lanka. So my opinion is let him accept. And the most important thing is, person who comes to you, you give shelter to them.

Lord Rama accepted Vibhishana and awarded him as the king of Lanka.

Here we can see there are two different opinions from Sugriva and Hanuman but they both are trying to serve Lord Rama only they are not going to show their superiority, what they want is to how can we please Lord Rama.

So , if people have different opinions we should accept it, it is not necessary all the time we are only right.

Jai Sri Ram!

Life is a preparation, death is an examination

We participate in so many exams in our life, and get the results as per our preparation for that exams. But most of the exams we have option, whether to attempt it or not? But there is one exam in our life which we may ignore saying we will see when it would come in our life, but we all have to attempt we don't have any choice, whether we are poor,  rich,  educated or illiterate. Srila Prabhupada used to say, this life is our preparation how we are preparing our-self for coming exam.  Because that exam has no prior time table, no time period, no grace marks, and no cheat sheet allowed. And you may be surprise to know, all our activities are recorded by Yamduta for our each and every moments with evidence. Yes, Yamduta will show your answer sheet and you can review it, whether he has marked you in correct way or not? You are successful, if you are passed your exams but if you are failed then you don't know when you will have to reattempt that exam (it could be after 84 laces bir

Depression vs Satisfaction

There are two types of people live in this world, one who live a satisfied life and one who goes into depression when something goes wrong in their life. A satisfied person can stay happy all the time in any circumstances but a person who looks for sense pleasure and thinks sense objects is going to give happiness to me always goes into depression, if he does not get pleasure from an objects or person. And the secret of satisfactions is to see opportunity in every aspects whether it is success or failure. Many of us become happy when we get success but become sad when failure comes in our life. We must remember one thing, in our life success and failure is not going to stay forever with anyone. A very successful person has to face even failure sometimes in his life. A satisfied person knows it very well, that is why he does not goes in to depression for his failure but he learn from it and move on. A very beautiful quotes by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, "Don't read success stories, yo

Be Humble - Time can change everything

When we get name, fame and power we puffed by the false ego and become arrogant to the people and think no one is greater than me. But our history says, who were arrogant, time has collapsed all of them. None of us can say, I can beat the time and can go against it. We all are under control of Time as Lord Krishna has already stated in the Bhagwad Gita (I am the time and eveything is under my control). But due to our false ego we do not accept this fact become arrogant with other people instead of becoming humble with them. Who was "King of Good times" now became "King of bad times", so easily we can understand time make us King or Beggar. So we should be always being humble with the people in our Good times and take blessings from them for our bad times, but we do exactly opposite of it, we become arrogant in Good times and seek for blessings in our bad times. But what is the use of it, when you hurt someone, you lose sympathy from that person's heart.
