Ravana the most powerful demon king of Lanka who was not only considered to be the great but very powerful king demigods were also fearful from him. He was trying to conquer the three worlds even he was succeful to rule over the king of heaven Indra.
But as we know one mistake of our
life can change the whole situation and that turns Ravana’s life too. Ravana
was very much powerful and puffed up by false ego and that was the begining of
his end.
Once people become puffed up by
false ego and controlled by his senses and mind he himself is the enemy no one
else. Now Ravana’s anger, lust and ego
become his enemy although he conqured all the great kings and become so
powerful.
A
lusty person always think of women and that becomes his biggest weakness,
Ravana was very lusty and he was completely blind due to lust.
Once
we come under control of lust, our inteligence failed and we act like a mad
person because Chankya pandit says, a lusty person can not sleep in night well.
He
commited so many mistakes like insulting Nandi, mother Parvati, Vedvati and
Rambha but his one mistake changed his whole life and destroyed whole Lanka and
that was, Kidnapping mother Sita.
Sometimes
in our life we too commit so many mistakes but that mistakes do not create any
impact in our life but some mistakes if we do which we should not suppose to
can change the whole scenario of our life.
We
all know what happened to Ravana and his entire armies due to his one mistake.
Same way there is some kind of mistakes we should avoid and that is; No illicit
sex, No meat eating, No intoxication and No gambelling.
These
are the four types of considered major mistakes which we should not do in our
life because once a person does any of one menntioned above mistakes he can
create the road to hell.
श्री भगवानुवाच
काम एष क्रोध एष रजोगुणसमुद्भवः ।
महाशनो महापाप्मा विद्ध्येनमिह वैरिणम् ॥ ३७ ॥
The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: It is lust only,
Arjuna, which is born of contact with the material mode of passion and later
transformed into wrath, and which is the all-devouring sinful enemy of this
world.
A lusty desire is very dangerous but more dangerous is association of a lusty person.
