Are we progressing in Right Direction?

Ajay a college student now become a graduate and searching for job luckily he got job in reputed company.  He is now feeling glad and his parent too for his success and after few years he bought new car from his savings.

Ajay got promotion and become general manager in his company after few years, now his friends and family think he is progressing in his career and he is completely settled now.

But one late night when Ajay came to home and he is fully drunk and fall down on ground while coming out from his car, after hearing the sound of noise his parent come out to check what happens?

They see Ajay is completely unconscious and bleeding from his head , their parent call doctor immediately.

Doctor come and see Ajay's condition and inform their parent personally, it will take lots of time to recover him due to more alcohols and smoke his kidney and lever are damaged and he may get brain stroke in future, so you must care him.

His parent become shocked after hearing this, they thought his son is progressing in his life and career but now truth is completely different, now they thought they did not check the parameter of progress in which direction his son is progressing.

Friends, this is not the case of only Ajay, now more in corporate world we only see good salary, good position, reputed organization but after working there we get into bad habits like smoking, drinking, meat eating, illicit sex and gambling.

Most of us thinks what's wrong by doing all these things as this is demand of today's situation, there is nothing wrong in it, but once we get addicted of all these we harm not only to our wealth, health but character also.

As it is said, once wealth is gone nothing is gone, health is gone something is gone but character is gone then everything is gone.

In the name of progress we completely forgot our culture and accepted the culture which is leading to animalistic life.

We have big car, big bungalow and we have enough bank balance to enjoy there is nothing wrong in it, but always ask from yourself are we progressing in right direction or wrong direction?

Hare Krishna!

Life is a preparation, death is an examination

We participate in so many exams in our life, and get the results as per our preparation for that exams. But most of the exams we have option, whether to attempt it or not? But there is one exam in our life which we may ignore saying we will see when it would come in our life, but we all have to attempt we don't have any choice, whether we are poor,  rich,  educated or illiterate. Srila Prabhupada used to say, this life is our preparation how we are preparing our-self for coming exam.  Because that exam has no prior time table, no time period, no grace marks, and no cheat sheet allowed. And you may be surprise to know, all our activities are recorded by Yamduta for our each and every moments with evidence. Yes, Yamduta will show your answer sheet and you can review it, whether he has marked you in correct way or not? You are successful, if you are passed your exams but if you are failed then you don't know when you will have to reattempt that exam (it could be after 84 laces bir

Depression vs Satisfaction

There are two types of people live in this world, one who live a satisfied life and one who goes into depression when something goes wrong in their life. A satisfied person can stay happy all the time in any circumstances but a person who looks for sense pleasure and thinks sense objects is going to give happiness to me always goes into depression, if he does not get pleasure from an objects or person. And the secret of satisfactions is to see opportunity in every aspects whether it is success or failure. Many of us become happy when we get success but become sad when failure comes in our life. We must remember one thing, in our life success and failure is not going to stay forever with anyone. A very successful person has to face even failure sometimes in his life. A satisfied person knows it very well, that is why he does not goes in to depression for his failure but he learn from it and move on. A very beautiful quotes by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, "Don't read success stories, yo

Be Humble - Time can change everything

When we get name, fame and power we puffed by the false ego and become arrogant to the people and think no one is greater than me. But our history says, who were arrogant, time has collapsed all of them. None of us can say, I can beat the time and can go against it. We all are under control of Time as Lord Krishna has already stated in the Bhagwad Gita (I am the time and eveything is under my control). But due to our false ego we do not accept this fact become arrogant with other people instead of becoming humble with them. Who was "King of Good times" now became "King of bad times", so easily we can understand time make us King or Beggar. So we should be always being humble with the people in our Good times and take blessings from them for our bad times, but we do exactly opposite of it, we become arrogant in Good times and seek for blessings in our bad times. But what is the use of it, when you hurt someone, you lose sympathy from that person's heart.
