Why we are not happy, although we have tried so many tips & tricks?

In comparison to our ancient times there are so many things we have invented to make ourselves happy & peaceful today. But still when it comes to our peace and happiness it is missing from our life.

Although we have so many Youtube videos, Facebook friends, Instagram apps to make our-self happy and stress free but why does it not work for long time? What is the root cause of it?

In Srimad Bhagwatam it is mentioned after Vyasdeva composed 4 Vedas and 108 Upanishads still he was not fully satisfied from His composition and feeling sad.

When the great sage Narada come to see Vyasdeva and asked, what is the reason you feel sad, you should be happy you have composed so many scriptures and given to the people?

Vyasdeva replied, you are great and knows everything from heart of the living entities you know better why I feel sad, although I have composed so many scriptures but still something is missing in that that is the reason I am still unhappy.

Sage Narada smiled and said, My dear Vyasdeva , although you have composed so many scriptures but you have not completely glorified Krishna in all and that is the root cause of your miseries.

I suggest, you should compose one scripture where you shall only glorify Krishna and that will not only make you happy but also the people who are looking for happiness and peace make them also happy.

Hearing the suggestion from his spiritual master, Vyasdeva composed Srimad Bhagwatam the scripture which is the essence of all the Vedic Scriptures and can en light people from this material dangers.

Although we tried so many tips and trics but like Vyasdeva, untill and unless we will come in contact with Krishna and surrender unto Him we won't be happy.

Srimad Bhagwatam has ability to transform our heart. If a person genuinely take shelter of Srimad Bhagwatam his life and soul is out of danger from this material world.

Hare Krishna!

Life is a preparation, death is an examination

We participate in so many exams in our life, and get the results as per our preparation for that exams. But most of the exams we have option, whether to attempt it or not? But there is one exam in our life which we may ignore saying we will see when it would come in our life, but we all have to attempt we don't have any choice, whether we are poor,  rich,  educated or illiterate. Srila Prabhupada used to say, this life is our preparation how we are preparing our-self for coming exam.  Because that exam has no prior time table, no time period, no grace marks, and no cheat sheet allowed. And you may be surprise to know, all our activities are recorded by Yamduta for our each and every moments with evidence. Yes, Yamduta will show your answer sheet and you can review it, whether he has marked you in correct way or not? You are successful, if you are passed your exams but if you are failed then you don't know when you will have to reattempt that exam (it could be after 84 laces bir

Depression vs Satisfaction

There are two types of people live in this world, one who live a satisfied life and one who goes into depression when something goes wrong in their life. A satisfied person can stay happy all the time in any circumstances but a person who looks for sense pleasure and thinks sense objects is going to give happiness to me always goes into depression, if he does not get pleasure from an objects or person. And the secret of satisfactions is to see opportunity in every aspects whether it is success or failure. Many of us become happy when we get success but become sad when failure comes in our life. We must remember one thing, in our life success and failure is not going to stay forever with anyone. A very successful person has to face even failure sometimes in his life. A satisfied person knows it very well, that is why he does not goes in to depression for his failure but he learn from it and move on. A very beautiful quotes by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, "Don't read success stories, yo

Be Humble - Time can change everything

When we get name, fame and power we puffed by the false ego and become arrogant to the people and think no one is greater than me. But our history says, who were arrogant, time has collapsed all of them. None of us can say, I can beat the time and can go against it. We all are under control of Time as Lord Krishna has already stated in the Bhagwad Gita (I am the time and eveything is under my control). But due to our false ego we do not accept this fact become arrogant with other people instead of becoming humble with them. Who was "King of Good times" now became "King of bad times", so easily we can understand time make us King or Beggar. So we should be always being humble with the people in our Good times and take blessings from them for our bad times, but we do exactly opposite of it, we become arrogant in Good times and seek for blessings in our bad times. But what is the use of it, when you hurt someone, you lose sympathy from that person's heart.
