A Servant who challenged his Master

Srila Prabhupada often used to share one story of sage and mouse where mouse comes to sage and ask for his protection from cat and sage changed mouse to become a cat and again when Lion chase the mouse who became dog now. Sage make mouse from dog to lion and when mouse become lion he started looking to sage and sage understood he want to eat me and cursed to become mouse once again.

Sometimes, the person who make us great and give power, due to false ego we become envious from that person.

This is the story of great demon King Dasagriva who went to worship Lord Shiva and went through so much austerity and finally when Lord Shiva appeared in front of Dasagriva, Dasagriva arrogantly said to Lord Shiva, If you had taken more time now then I would have taken you from here along with mount Kailash to my place Lanka.

Lord Shiva smiled and said, "Is it so?" So why not you carry me along with mount Kailash?

On hearing this foolish Dasagriva from his 20 hands started lifting mount Kailash and Lord Shiva sitting on peak of Kalisah just pressed his toe and Dasagriva started screaming so loudly.

He started praising to Lord Shiva, My dear Lord I was not aware of your power I thought I am  more powerful than you due to my false ego and foolishness, now I understood your power. Kindly forgive me for my inappropriate behavior.

Lord Shiva pleased with Dasagriva and titled him with a new name as "Ravana". Ravana means who cry himself and make others cry also.

People who thinks I have more knowledge than my elders, teachers and Guru are considered in the category of Ravana and they themselves cry and make others cry.

When we get some knowledge, power and position we must learn how to be humble else quality of Ravana will be developed and we become proud due to false ego and we challenge our own master.

Hare Krishna!

Life is a preparation, death is an examination

We participate in so many exams in our life, and get the results as per our preparation for that exams. But most of the exams we have option, whether to attempt it or not? But there is one exam in our life which we may ignore saying we will see when it would come in our life, but we all have to attempt we don't have any choice, whether we are poor,  rich,  educated or illiterate. Srila Prabhupada used to say, this life is our preparation how we are preparing our-self for coming exam.  Because that exam has no prior time table, no time period, no grace marks, and no cheat sheet allowed. And you may be surprise to know, all our activities are recorded by Yamduta for our each and every moments with evidence. Yes, Yamduta will show your answer sheet and you can review it, whether he has marked you in correct way or not? You are successful, if you are passed your exams but if you are failed then you don't know when you will have to reattempt that exam (it could be after 84 lac...

After getting that achievement they need more and more and if they do not get they become frustrated. And we see more of the so called successful people at some level they are not able to tolerate the failure and end up their life. So, here we are going to discuss, what is the real meaning of success? First of all we must understand, Success is not a destination but a journey. In our life we may consider anything of success, but it means opportunity to implore our self more. Definition of success changed as per our situation and time as a child, think I will be successful if I get good marks in my exam and the same child after getting good marks started thinking I will be successful if I get a good job. So we can see it is not fixed at some point we think if we get that thing I may be successful but after getting it into our definition of success got changed. Success is...
