How can we attain perfection in our life?

In this material world everything seems to be set but still our mind is upset, no doubt how much we try to set everything but still something missed out in our life to make it perfect.

It is mentioned in our Vedic Scripture nothing is perfect except Lord but being in this material world we have to maintain harmony and peace in our family and social life and it is our responsibility to make our life progressive.

How much we try until and unless we do not incline our-self to the lotus feet of Lord our life is incomplete. It is said that, a tree without fruit is useless, a well without water is useless, a land without seeds useless same way a human life without devotion is useless.

Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu none other than supreme personality of Godhead Lord Krishna Himself therefore recommended five main principles for attaining perfection in the devotional service of the Lord.

1. Association with devotees: We must associate with the devotees and hear pastimes of Lord and purify our heart, actually it is slow and steady process but when we hear Lord's pastime surely it cleanse our heart from material dirt (lust, anger, greed, envy etc).

2. Chanting the glories of the Lord: If we glorify someone in this material world we become very dear to that person, same way if we glorify Lord by chanting His names and pastimes, reading Vedic Scriptures we become very dear to the Lord. And when we become dear to the Lord, Lord assured us to protect us from three dangers of this material world and maintain our life.

3. Hearing Srimad-Bhagavatam from the pure devotee: When it come to our learning we try to get best teacher out of thousands who is having proper and authentic knowledge of particular subject same way if we go to hear Srimad-Bhagavatam we must be careful, it should from the pure devotees not any professional speaker.

4. Residing in a holy place connected with the Lord: Bharat is the land of holy places where Lord has played Their pastimes and still we can feel when we go to that places in that mood. When Srila Prabhupada went to west he told his disciples holy places is still the same what it was the time of Lord. There are places like, Ayodhya, Mathura, Kashi, Jagnnath Puri, Pandharpur, Dwaraka, Chitrakoot and many more. We must visit these places and feel so much relax and it really burn our worries and stress.

5. Worshiping the Deity of the Lord with devotion: Deities are not an ordinary stones made statue but They are real God it is just a matter of faith. Few people says, how a stone can be a God? But if I we see there are so many things where we keep our faith 100 percent on it like when we travel we get only a piece of paper (Air ticket) someone can ask how can you travel by just showing this piece of paper but you say, no it is authenticated by airlines and it is now ticket not just a piece of paper. same way when Deities were installed there are so many Vedic hymens chants by scholars then it become Deity it is not a stone now.

When Srila Prabhupada went to west and taught their disciples if they serve Deity nicely they feel the Lord Himself if they are in proper mood of serving.

Hope these 5 steps will definitely help us to make our life perfect.
