Longest journey begins with the first step

When it comes to our goal, we think of too much, how can we achieve that? What will be the challenges? What is the obstacles in our path to achieve our goal? Here we are going to discuss about how can we achieve a big goal by taking our first step.

There is a true story I am going to share with you from where we can learn, How a first step can help to achieve a big goal.

There was a sparrow, she laid her eggs on the shore of the ocean. After some time when she came, there is no eggs there, the Ocean carried away the eggs on its waves. The sparrow asked for her eggs from the ocean to return, but Ocean refused to return. Then Sparrow asked, "If you won't return my eggs back, I will dry to you." Ocean laughed on the Sparrow and replied, "Do you think you can dry to me."

The sparrow become very upset and she began to pick out the water in her small beak, and everyone laughed at her for her impossible determination. The news of her activity spread, and when finally it reaches to Garuda, the gigantic bird carrier of Lord Vishnu, he became compassionate toward his small sister bird, and so he decided to help her.

Thus, Garuda at once asked the ocean to return her eggs lest he himself take up the work of the sparrow. The ocean was frightened by this and returned the eggs. Thus, the sparrow became happy by the grace of Garuda.

As far as Sparrow is concerned, she has no power to make ocean dry, but she took first step to achieve the goal & when she started she achieved a goal which was even impossible for her.

So, from this story we can learn, if we take our first step and fully determined, then surely Krishna will send someone in our life to help.
