What is the benefits of hearing Lord Rama's Pastimes?

Being a human we always try to engage our-self in hearing something to please our mind and senses.

But in this material world there is nothing which gives to our ear our heart a permanent pleasure which we are looking for since long time.

We love to hear something for sometime but after sometimes we feel bored and change to something else, and it keeps on changing and we never satisfied.

And there are many subjects to hear, politics, sports, gossips and entertainment but we don't get anything as a result but few moment of pleasure.

Now the question is, so what should we hear to satisfy our mind and senses and always satisfied.

The Answer is, Glories of Lord Rama. If we hear pastimes of Lord Rama we don't need to hear anything else and there are two major benefits we get out of it:

1. Cleanses of our heart: Lord Rama's pastimes is not an ordinary pastimes like we see in the material world. It is considered as a Lion in the forest, when Lion comes into the forest all other animals run away. The same way sage Valmiki composed Ramayana to cleanse our heart, if we hear it on regular basis it removes all the dirt's from our heart and purify it.

2. Sweeter than voice of Cuckoo bird: Lord Rama's pastimes is like singing a cuckoo bird in the forest, when we hear voice of cuckoo bird we feel so relaxed and get inner peace. There is no other alternative to hear than Lord Rama's past times it gives us eternal joy what we are looking for long time.

नास्ति गंगा समं तीर्थम, नास्ति माता समम् गुरुम्

नास्ति विष्णु समा देवो, नास्ति रामायण सम परम।

No holy places is equal to Mother Ganges. No Guru equal to our own mother. No one is equal to or greater than Lord Vishnu. No Literature is greater than Ramayana.

Jai Sri Rama.
