Want to know your biggest enemy?

In this world people may think, my boss is my biggest enemy, my neighbor is my biggest enemy, person who don't follow my order is my biggest enemy or opposite country is my biggest enemy.

But in Bhagwad Gita Lord Krishna says to Arjuna, My dear Arjuna there are no enemies outside, but it is inside us and explain the biggest enemy to Arjuna in the form of Lust.

In Bhagwad Gita 3.37, Lord Krishna says;

श्री भगवानुवाच

काम एष क्रोध एष रजोगुणसमुद्भ‍वः ।

महाशनो महापाप्मा विद्ध्येनमिह वैरिणम् ॥ 3.37 ॥

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: It is lust only, Arjuna, which is born of contact with the material mode of passion and later transformed into wrath, and which is the all-devouring sinful enemy of this world.

And now the question is what is lust? Lust can be any form i.e. unwanted sense gratification, sense pleasing object, unwanted desires and many more things.

It comes through when we comes under the mode of passion. In the modes of passion lust increases more, that is why Lord Krishna says in Bhagwad Gita one should try to fixed in mode of goodness or beyond.

Lust comes from our past deeds or when we try to fulfill requirements of our uncontrolled mind. And the same lust makes us miserable when we failed to fulfill.

Lust is like a black hole, once we entered into it we are gone. It's the first gate to hell, as Lord Krishna says in Bhagwad Gita, Lust, Anger and Greed are three gates to hell.

So, recognize the biggest enemy and try to kill this. And this can be killed by only when we engage our-self in service of God and hear pastimes of God.

Hare Krishna.
