When Srila Pabhupada met with Srila BhaktiSiddhanta Sarswati Thakura his spiritual master, Srila BhaktiSiddhanta Sarswati Thakura ordred Srila Prabhupada to preach in foreign country because you are intelligent and very good in English.
Srila Pabhupada took Srila BhaktiSiddhanta Sarswati Thakura instructions very seriousely because Gurus are not an ordinary person, they are representative of God comes in this material world to help living entities like us.
After taking initiation from Srila BhaktiSiddhanta Sarswati Thakura Srila Pabhupada met only 2-3 times with his spiritual master. But when Srila BhaktiSiddhanta Sarswati Thakura left his body and go home back to godhead, Srila Prabhupada started thinking of his mission about go to foreign country and preach.
After so many years of failure, no money, no homes, staying at Vrindavan Dham living a very simple life he asked for donations from many people, business man, politicians but no one helped Srila Prabhupada.
But Srila Pabhupada never lose his hope, he still continue asking and reached in Delhi and met many business personal to ask for donations he failed. He again came back to Vrindavan and stayed at Sri Sri Radha Damodar Temple and started translating Srimad Bhagwatam thinking this is only hope in age of Kali.
If people will take shelter of Srimad Bhagwatam their life will be successful.
He always thinking mercy of his spiritual master, Srila BhaktiSiddhanta Sarswati Thakura and when he compiled one canto, he went to Delhi for printing the books, he met many people but Sri Hanuman Prasad Poddar helped him and he was able to print first canto of Srimad Bhagwatam.
The day when copy of Srimad Bhagwatam came out from publications, Srila Pabhupada was so happy and thinking how did it happen?
I have no money, no place to stay, then it is only possible just because of spiritual master, Srila BhaktiSiddhanta Sarswati Thakura.
We can see from the life of Srila Prabhupada at the age of 69 he went to United State to fulfill desire of his spiritual master, where at that age people try to get retired and sit at home.
It is only possible when we keep strong faith on our spiritual master.
