In our previous post we have already mentioned Ramayna is not an ordinary story but a complete learning lesson from each & every characters.
Laxmana is one of the character of Ramayana, who was completely hide himself to glorify from others, and away from honor and dishonor.
Laxmana teaches us how to maintain character, competency, selfless service, and equal in both the situation either you are praised or you are abused.
If you have fixed your aim, then there is no question of disturbance what people say to you.
But when we get into the deep of Ramayana and see the value of Laxmana, We see he was the hero after Lord Rama in the whole story.
Laxmana represents who carry out Laxmi with him and serve Lord Rama by his good will. Laxmana always eager to serve Lord Rama, when Lord Rama was about to go for exile for fourteen years Laxmana immediately stood up & ready to go along with Lord Rama although he was not asked to go to exile.
Laxmana took vow, he will not sleep for fourteen years and he selflessly served Lord Rama and mother Sita in the exile. But when Lord Rama run behind the demon Maricha who came in the form of deer to attract mother Sita, mother Sita used wrong words to Laxmana but Laxmana didn't say anything in return.
Laxmana also had to go through anger of Lord Rama, as mother Sita was kidnapped by Ravana in his absence.
Laxmana could have been says, I left Ayodhya, my mother, my wife just because of you people and now you people are chastising on me. Now I am going back to Ayodhya but still he didn't say anything and silently continued serving Lord Rama.
In the war he fought with many demons and killed great demon Indrajit (son of Ravana who was victorious over Indra) & only can killed by the person who has not slept for 14 years and maintain celibacy. But his only aim was to server Lord Rama not for his own glorification.
Even Lord Rama say's to Laxmana, you are more dearer than Sita, if I have lost you in the war then what is the use of getting Sita and going back to Ayodhya? I would have been finished myself.
Without glorifying Laxmana Ramayana will be incomplete.
Jai Sri Rama!
