Science or our Vedic scripture, on whom we should keep our faith?

There was one class teacher teaching to children, she was telling a story of a person whom a snake bit and he felt unconsciousness.

People quickly took him to a village temple where priest chanted mantra and quickly person got relief and woke up.

Finally after finishing the class, teacher asked few questions to children.

What do you think? Do the mantras act against the snake's poison?

Do you think snake was poisonous and credit goes to priest to get out of the snake poison?

Whole class was silent but one intelligent boy stood and replied to teacher.

Yes, teacher mantra has more power than medicine, because when some times we hear doctor says now I have no control on this patient, you pray to Lord, He can only save his life. It indicates that even a good doctor has full faith on prayers and mantra than advanced medicines.

Yes teacher, I think credit goes to priest rather than thinking snake was possession or not, because sometimes we go to doctor and even without taking medicine we feel good but even we give credit to doctor.

Whole class started applauding for that small kid, teacher was looking silently on him.

We must understand if we can keep blind faith on science without even knowing the reason behind it, our science says there is life only on earth, but our scripture says, there is life on every planets (there are 14 planets).

Science has researched near about 33,000 species but our scriptures says there are 84,00000 species on earth and it has categories in proper way:

9,00,000 species are aquatics;

20,00,000 species are plants and trees;

11,00,000 species are insects;

10,00,000 species are birds;

30,00,000 species are beasts, and

4,00,000 'species' are human beings.

And you can found more details in Padma Purana, which is all described. Who else can give a proper and valid proof than our Vedic Scriptures, so keeping faith on our Scripture is not blind faith instead keeping faith on Science is completely blind.

Hare Krishna!

Life is a preparation, death is an examination

We participate in so many exams in our life, and get the results as per our preparation for that exams. But most of the exams we have option, whether to attempt it or not? But there is one exam in our life which we may ignore saying we will see when it would come in our life, but we all have to attempt we don't have any choice, whether we are poor,  rich,  educated or illiterate. Srila Prabhupada used to say, this life is our preparation how we are preparing our-self for coming exam.  Because that exam has no prior time table, no time period, no grace marks, and no cheat sheet allowed. And you may be surprise to know, all our activities are recorded by Yamduta for our each and every moments with evidence. Yes, Yamduta will show your answer sheet and you can review it, whether he has marked you in correct way or not? You are successful, if you are passed your exams but if you are failed then you don't know when you will have to reattempt that exam (it could be after 84 laces bir

Depression vs Satisfaction

There are two types of people live in this world, one who live a satisfied life and one who goes into depression when something goes wrong in their life. A satisfied person can stay happy all the time in any circumstances but a person who looks for sense pleasure and thinks sense objects is going to give happiness to me always goes into depression, if he does not get pleasure from an objects or person. And the secret of satisfactions is to see opportunity in every aspects whether it is success or failure. Many of us become happy when we get success but become sad when failure comes in our life. We must remember one thing, in our life success and failure is not going to stay forever with anyone. A very successful person has to face even failure sometimes in his life. A satisfied person knows it very well, that is why he does not goes in to depression for his failure but he learn from it and move on. A very beautiful quotes by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, "Don't read success stories, yo

Be Humble - Time can change everything

When we get name, fame and power we puffed by the false ego and become arrogant to the people and think no one is greater than me. But our history says, who were arrogant, time has collapsed all of them. None of us can say, I can beat the time and can go against it. We all are under control of Time as Lord Krishna has already stated in the Bhagwad Gita (I am the time and eveything is under my control). But due to our false ego we do not accept this fact become arrogant with other people instead of becoming humble with them. Who was "King of Good times" now became "King of bad times", so easily we can understand time make us King or Beggar. So we should be always being humble with the people in our Good times and take blessings from them for our bad times, but we do exactly opposite of it, we become arrogant in Good times and seek for blessings in our bad times. But what is the use of it, when you hurt someone, you lose sympathy from that person's heart.
