Holi - Spiritual Success over material Success

We see majority people try to get material success and they can go to any extent to get it. But develop envy, depression, and many more things to maintain our success if someone try to compete with us.

But we see, how much we try to get material success that much we make our life miserable and unhealthy and always keep our-self in fear, what will happen if I lose all these?

Today definition of material success is cut throat competition, how we  can deceit people and make our-self success and one day we see we are not even happy after getting those success.

But spiritual success is exactly opposite, how much we get it that much we become humble, tolerable and respect others. In Shikshaashtkam Lord Chaitnya Mahaprabhu wrote,

One should chant the holy name of the Lord in a humble state of mind, thinking oneself lower than the straw in the street; one should be more tolerant than a tree, devoid of all sense of false prestige, and should be ready to offer all respect to others. In such a state of mind one can chant the holy name of the Lord constantly.

How much we get success in spirituality that much we become humble, tolerable and free from envy.

We see in Srimad Bhagwatam canto 7, when Hirnyakashyapu was try to get boons from Lord Brahma to become immortal and done penance of 1000 years.

After getting boon from Brahma Ji no one can kill him, he become proud and started toruting others and when he heard his own Son Prahlada is devoted to Lord Vishnu he was unable to tolerate and ask Prahlad to stop chanting holy names of Lord Vishnu.

But Prahlad Maharaj knew the power of spirituality he did not stop chanting the holy name of Lord. When Hirnyakashyapu heard, still his son is chanting holy name of Lord Vishnu, he asked to kill him.

Prahalad Mahraja was tried so many ways to kill but everything failed and then Hirnyakashyapu asked her sister Holika (she got boon from Lord Brahma she will never burn in fire) to sit in fire taking Prahlada in lap and this way we will kill him.

Holika become ready and she sit Prahalad Maharaj in her lap and set on fire, after sometime people see Holika was burned and Prahlada Mahraja is still alive.

And finally when Hirnyakashyapu chalanged Prahalad Mahraja to see Lord Vishnu, Lord Vishnu came in form of Narsimha (Half Lion+Half Man) and killed Hirnyakashyapu like a person smash mosquito by his hand.

This is the lesson for all of us, how much we try to get material success it is nothing in comparison of Spirituality and one day it is going to be in vain.

Jai Narsimha Deva, Jai Prahlad Mahraja!

Wish you all a very Happy Holi.
