Money or right education, what is more important for your child?

In our Vedic times it is known to be a child will be under protection of his father till death and after he will take his responsibility and carry on, this way it was understood that child is in proper discipline and following the culture. So father was not even worried about whatever he left for his child and even that times it was assumed to not to accumulate too much.

But now, we see a father think I should save so much money for my child so he will enjoy his whole life and he does so much hard work for it. He brings costly gift for him, costly clothes and many more things so that child can never think of I am in lack of something.

If you don't give your child a costly gift, he will cry only once but if you fail to give him proper culture and education he will cry for his whole life. Now it's up to us what is more suitable to make our child future to give them costly gift or right education, so they can differentiate what is right and what is wrong?

There was one person who used to work hard and keep himself always  busy for his child future. After some time suddenly he got accident and died and whatever he left it became his child's property.

His child got into a bad association and used to keep intoxicated all the times, he never do anything for his family and society.

His only concern was I have lot's of property, now why I should do anything,  instead I must enjoy.

His mother left him alone because of his bad habit and now he was fully free to enjoy whatever he want to. He just used to drink and sleep all the time and keep himself in completely bad association.

Slowly-slowly he started losing his money in his friends, and one day he see all his friends left him alone, saying, 'Now you don't have money what is the use of our friendship now.

There is a saying, पूत कपूत तो का धन संचय, पूत सपूत तो का धन संचय . If a child is foolish then what is the use of saving money for him and if a child is wise then what is the use of saving money.

A foolish child lose everything whatever he get, and a wise child create everything even he does not get anything.

So wise people invest his money for child's education not for his future. And right education is not only material education to just earn money but moral education as well. So, child can discriminate in good and bad things.
