How can I get rid of from bad habit?

There is nothing surprising in it if someone has some bad habit, everyone has some bad habit, there is saying, "habit is our second nature."

If one keep following their habits continuously then it become nature after sometime, some has electronics gadgets addiction, some has bad association, some has intoxication habits and there are many more types of it.

Here are we are going to discuss about how can we change our habit from bad to good and good to better and better to best. As many of the times we have mentioned Bhagwad Gita has each and every solution of our daily problems. So how can we change our habit is also mentioned in Bhagwad Gita 2.59 as Lord Krishna says,

विषया विनिवर्तन्ते निराहारस्य देहिनः ।

रसवर्जं रसोऽप्यस्य परं दृष्ट्वा निवर्तते ॥ 2.59 ॥

Though the embodied soul may be restricted from sense enjoyment, the taste for sense objects remains. But, ceasing such engagements by experiencing a higher taste, he is fixed in consciousness.

In this verse Lord Krishna explains about one needs enjoyment through his senses but if he get better alternative (higher taste) definitely he leave the old one. Same way we are getting some enjoyment from something or someone but we have not tasted the higher enjoyment that is why we are not letting the old things go.

If a person has habit of eating sugar but one day if he get taste of honey, surely he will never taste sugar again because he got the higher taster from sugar in honey.

Here are few things we need to maintain at least for 21 days:

1. Don't sit idle, engage your mind something productive work like keep help of your parents/teacher or society.

2. Make a time period of your smart phone, i.e. I Will only keep my phone with me only for 3 Hours in a day (or even less than that).

3. I will not keep association of that people whom I never get good lesson but only bad things (Don't break relationship with them but keep distance with them)

4. Try to spend quality time with your family.

5. Spend some times with nature, see how beautiful nature created by God and take 3 times deep breathe.

6. Keep your phone switch off one hour before going to sleep, read some Vedic scriptures like Bhagwad Gita, Ramayana, moral stories book before sleep.

7. Pray to Krishna, "Oh Krishna, I am trying my best to get out of my bad habits but I am not able to do it without your help, please help me.

If you genuinely follow above steps, I am hundred percent sure after few days you will see changes within you.

Please feel free to share your feedback/comments.

Nectar in the beginning but Poison in end

He was young and belonging from rich family, he entered into the compartment and seated next to me.  Long and stylist hair, branded watch on wrist, iPhone in hand but he was loosing his control. Started abusing someone on phone and shouting out very louder, people was looking at him.  He was fully drunken and started vomiting, people thrown out him out of train and he slayed down at platform. Story is not over yet, I was thinking is this our modern education we are providing to our children and in the name of facilities we are giving them huge money, branded gadgets, but being an guarding do we ever try to esquire what they do and, which type of association they keep?  Once these things comes in their hands they start thinking, no one is greater than me and due to false ego they disrespect elder people.  But one thing they forget, disrespecting elder people only harmful to them because elderly people only teach them morality and good lesson. And being an elder person...
