Effect of Bhagwad Gita Distribution

Our founder Acharya His Divine Grace Swami A.C. Bhaktivedanta Srila Prabhupada used to say to their disciples,  temple is not mandatory for us to spread Krishna Consciousness all over the world, but Book distribution is very much important for us to spread Krishna Consciousness.

If a person buy one book his life may be turned, and that is the best preaching work we all can do.

Every year we meet with new people and distribute them Bhagwad Gita, and when they start reading their life change automatically.

Here I am going to share one incident what we faced last year during book distribution, there were three-four young girls came to eat pani-puri we were also kept our stall near pani-puri shop.

I asked one of them, please take Bhagwad Gita, she refused and started chatting to her friend.

There was one girl she came to me and asked, uncle how much for one copy? I told her it's only Rs. 140 are you willing to take?

She told yes,  I needed, I have heard there are so many things inside it which is useful in our life. Off course I replied! You must get lesson from this Gita which is not there in any other books.

She felt little nervous and told, but uncle we have only 50 rupees and that is for pani-puri, can you manage it if we give you 40 rupees and 10 rupees for our pani-puri?

I smiled, why not I will give you in 40 rupees and they each contributed 10-10 rupees and promised me they all read together.

One of the prabhuji were smiling and listening that conversation and told me, this girl is very smart she knows the value of Bhagwad Gita  how important it is and it is more important than pani-puri.

So, it's humble request to all, if we give one copy of Bhagwad Gita to student, house hold, business man, professional it can turned their life.

Nectar in the beginning but Poison in end

He was young and belonging from rich family, he entered into the compartment and seated next to me.  Long and stylist hair, branded watch on wrist, iPhone in hand but he was loosing his control. Started abusing someone on phone and shouting out very louder, people was looking at him.  He was fully drunken and started vomiting, people thrown out him out of train and he slayed down at platform. Story is not over yet, I was thinking is this our modern education we are providing to our children and in the name of facilities we are giving them huge money, branded gadgets, but being an guarding do we ever try to esquire what they do and, which type of association they keep?  Once these things comes in their hands they start thinking, no one is greater than me and due to false ego they disrespect elder people.  But one thing they forget, disrespecting elder people only harmful to them because elderly people only teach them morality and good lesson. And being an elder person...

Depression vs Satisfaction

There are two types of people live in this world, one who live a satisfied life and one who goes into depression when something goes wrong in their life. A satisfied person can stay happy all the time in any circumstances but a person who looks for sense pleasure and thinks sense objects is going to give happiness to me always goes into depression, if he does not get pleasure from an objects or person. And the secret of satisfactions is to see opportunity in every aspects whether it is success or failure. Many of us become happy when we get success but become sad when failure comes in our life. We must remember one thing, in our life success and failure is not going to stay forever with anyone. A very successful person has to face even failure sometimes in his life. A satisfied person knows it very well, that is why he does not goes in to depression for his failure but he learn from it and move on. A very beautiful quotes by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, "Don't read success stories, yo...
