True ego vs False ego

There are two types ego one is true and another is false. Most of the people live in false ego, they think I have power, position, knowledge and fame.

But the true ego is to know the real identity, who am I? what is my real position and what I have to do in this world?

False ego always keeps a person in dark side but true ego keeps a person in knowledge.  A true egositic person knows,  whatever happens there is a cause behind everything and Krishna is the cause of all causes.

If we take example of Ravana the demon king who was so powerful even heavenly planets were under his control.

But he had false ego, he forgot his real identity. And that is normal when people get name, fame, power and position they puffed up and think they are God.

Ravana was thinking himself as a controller of whole universe. But he forgot he can not be the controller because Lord Krishna is the supreme controller and we all are under His control.

And finally Lord Rama killed him very easily. No power and wealth saved him.

Now if we talk about true ego, when Hanuman ji entered in Lanka alone and threatened Ravana and burned whole Lanka.

Ravana was suprised to know how a monkey can do this very easily? as Lanka was fully protected by demons not even a bird can fly without their order. It was not possible in dream also. Ravana got to know, it's not a an ordinary monkey.

And when Ravana asked Hanuman Ji, who are you? you seems monkey but what is your real identity?

Hanuman Ji replied to Ravana, " I am servant of Lord Rama".

And if you accept Lord Rama as your master, He can forgive you also.

But just because of false ego Ravana never accepted Lord Rama as supreme controller.

Let's this Dusehra festival burn our false ego and reveal our true ego and that is, we all are servant of Lord and our position is to please him then only we can be happy.

Please feel free to share your feedback/comments.
