Things can only give pleasure to the mind & senses

Indra was trying to build a grand palace and he asked Vishwakaram ji to build a palace which should be top on all the three world.

Vishwakaram ji, started building it without any interruption and completed a grand palace in hundred years.

He asked Indra, please have a look at your palace, I know you must like it.

Indra saw the palace but after seeing he felt little unhappy, it was not like how he made thought in his mind.

Vishwakaram ji understood the problem of Indra, he sent Indra to visit  sage named Lomash. Lomash rishi was a great sage but he was living a very simple life even he was capable to live a luxurious life from power of his austerity.

When Indra saw Lomash rishi, he was sitting under a tree without even roof on his head. Indra asked about that sage, I have heard about you, you are so great and scholar then why are you living without even home?

Lomash rishi replied, life is very short if I waste my time in building house then I waste my quality time, instead I used it for self-realization.

Indra understood the sage who has enough power to build a grand palace in fraction of seconds is living a simple life under a tree and I am even not satisfied with a grand palace.

In our life also, sometimes we think if we get this things my life will be perfect but remember one thing, things can only give pleasure to the mind & senses but not to the soul.

How much we try to grab the things, that much our life will be miserable.
