Kartika - The holiest month

In all auspicious month Kartika is the month Lord Krishna love so much. In this month Lord Krishna please very quick from Their devotees. In this year it begins from Saturday 31 Oct 2020, and end Monday 30 Nov 2020. This month is also known as Damodara month because Lord Krishna played a nice pastimes.

There are few things we must do to get benefit of this holy month because Krishna will be pleased very easily in this month:

1. Daily offer ghee lamp (deep) to Damodara and Tulsi

2. Daily recite Damodar ashtkam while offering lamp

3. Chant maha mantra as much as possible (Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare)

4. Read Damodar pastimes from Krishna book, where Lord Krishna saved Nalkubera and Manigriva (sons of kuvera) from cursed of Narada muni as they became arjuna trees

5. Try not to offense anyone

6. Try to visit Vrindavan dham if possible (due to covid-19), if it is not then do virtual yatra (meditate from your mind)

7. Do Govardhan parikrama and Vrindavan parikrama

There are so many places to see in Vrindavan dham as we start our parikrama first from Kusum sarovar (a beautiful lake), we goes to gupt Ganges, Punchhari then reach at Udhava kund, Sri Radha kund and Shyam Kund (most auspicious to take bath in this month).

There are so many temples but 7 temples mainly build by our Six Gowswamis that is Sri Radha Madan Mohan, Radha Gopinath, Radha Govind, Radha Damodara (where srila prabhupada used to stay and translate Srimad Bhawatam), Radha Shyam Sundara, Radha Raman and Radha Gokulananda.

There is a beautiful place where you can take peaceful breath that is Sri Vrinda kunda (the main in-charge of Sridham Vrindavan). Without her sanction we can not enter into Vraj dhama.

There is a very famous place, people go to see the amazing thing over there that is Nidhi vana. Where Radha rani and Krishna even come every day.

There is varsana dham (a place of Radharani), a beautiful and auspicious place to seek devotional service from Radharani. Only Radha rani can give us the Krishna prema (love of Krishna).

Nectar in the beginning but Poison in end

He was young and belonging from rich family, he entered into the compartment and seated next to me.  Long and stylist hair, branded watch on wrist, iPhone in hand but he was loosing his control. Started abusing someone on phone and shouting out very louder, people was looking at him.  He was fully drunken and started vomiting, people thrown out him out of train and he slayed down at platform. Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati - A Lion Guru

Today we are celebrating the appearance day of the most important personality of the Gaudiya Vaishnava community Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakura.
