Our Speech Reflects our Consciousness

The whole world connected to us based on our communication with each others. How we communicate with others that prove our own consciousness, it is said that, "A foolish person is not known till the time he open his mouth."

Basically we start speaking at very early age but we spend our whole life to learn, how to speak?

In Bhagwad Gita Lord Krishna has given us, how to speak in Chapter 17.15.

अनुद्वेगकरं वाक्यं सत्यं प्रियहितं च यत् ।

स्वाध्यायाभ्यसनं चैव वाङ्‍मयं तप उच्यते ॥ 17.15 ॥

Austerity of speech consists in speaking words that are truthful, pleasing, beneficial, and not agitating to others, and also in regularly reciting Vedic literature.

So, in the above shloka Lord Krishna gives us 5 major things to remember before we speak, if we follow this 5 principles in our life then surely we never break our relationship.

Truthfulness: Whatever we speak, we must speak truth at any cost. As we know, to hide one lie we have to speak more than hundreds lie. And if a person is liar, no one can keep trust on him.

Pleasing: Speaking is an art and it comes through good association, our speech shows what type of association we keep. So, while speaking we must remember that words should be pleasing to others.

Beneficial: Most of the people just think of their own benefits and speak accordingly. But while speaking we must keep in mind, it should also beneficial to others, otherwise no one will entertain you long time.

Agitating: We should never speak such a way people get agitated. Most of the problems in the world arises just because of we don't care while speaking with others and we agitate others from our words.

Based on Vedic Scriptures: We must speak based on our Vedic scriptures that is our ultimate base. We should never speak anything baseless. Most of the people speak so much but their conclusion is zero, just because it is not based on our Vedic scriptures.

I hope if we follow these in our life then definitely it is going to help us to maintain our personal as well professional relations.

Please feel free to share your feedback/comments.
