Name and Fame its very difficult to maintain

In this world we all are trying to keep our name and fame always alive, but it's very difficult. But to maintain it we goes at any extent. Some times we commit sinful activities, take help of drugs and intoxicated things and become shameless.

And finally we know no one is capable to maintain it till the last breath.

First of all to get name and fame we have to do so much hard work and once we achieved we have to maintain it. We know that, maintenance is more costly than achieving it.

Maintaining name and fame is like carrying an umbrella always, if it is rains then it is OK to carry and umbrella but in normal days if you carry it then it is surely a burden on you.

Same way maintaining name and fame is like keeping a big umbrella of tension, competition, frustration and anxiety.

Most of the people are carrying unnecessarily burden of name and fame and this way they can not live a peaceful life.

To live a happy & peaceful life, we don't required name and fame but only thing we required is satisfaction from whatever we have.

If we compare our self from this material world we are nothing but an insignificant.

In Srimad Bhawatam when King Bali asked Lord Vaman Deva, You should asked me more why are you only asking for three step of Land?

In reply Lord Vaman Deva said, King Bali, a person who is not satisfied in three steps of land can never be satisfied in three world also.

From this way we can understand, living a satisfied life is always better than living a competitive life.
