In a rapidly changing era, it is prudent to follow traditional customs

In modern age youths are getting confused about our traditions, I went to visit Lord Shiva temple. There I saw most of the people were talking about Lord Shiva was intoxicated by smoking Gaanja and that is His prasad for us and we should also get it by chanting "Har Har Mahadev".

In the name of Lord Shiva most of the youths getting addicted to drugs, Gaanja, Bhang and other intoxicated things and playing the nonsense songs.

We should tell them, Lord Shiva is a pure devotee of Lord Krishna and he always keep himself busy by chanting His holy names where he get time to do such kind of activities?

I heard some devotee brought Cold drink to offer Lord Shiva, this is the height of our intelligence. Yes I agree we are very modern and free to do whatever we want but in the name of freedom we should always maintains the limit. Many photos showing Lord Shiva smoking Ganja, which scriptures it is mentioned?

Even if He has done such kind of things then we must know He is God but we are normal human being we should never try to copy them.

For your kind information,I must tell you He has drank halahala poision but do we have courage to drink it?

If you can then you must copy Him otherwise please do not do such kind of things which is completely against our traditions.

Lord Shiva is very pleasing personality but same time He  also become angry very soon. So please do not do anything which is not pleasing to Him.

Finally I would like to request everyone, please maintain our traditions and customs, in the name of devotion don't do such kind of activities which hamper our traditions and we start losing our faith on it.

Har Har Mahadev

Life is a preparation, death is an examination

We participate in so many exams in our life, and get the results as per our preparation for that exams. But most of the exams we have option, whether to attempt it or not? But there is one exam in our life which we may ignore saying we will see when it would come in our life, but we all have to attempt we don't have any choice, whether we are poor,  rich,  educated or illiterate. Srila Prabhupada used to say, this life is our preparation how we are preparing our-self for coming exam.  Because that exam has no prior time table, no time period, no grace marks, and no cheat sheet allowed. And you may be surprise to know, all our activities are recorded by Yamduta for our each and every moments with evidence. Yes, Yamduta will show your answer sheet and you can review it, whether he has marked you in correct way or not? You are successful, if you are passed your exams but if you are failed then you don't know when you will have to reattempt that exam (it could be after 84 laces bir

Depression vs Satisfaction

There are two types of people live in this world, one who live a satisfied life and one who goes into depression when something goes wrong in their life. A satisfied person can stay happy all the time in any circumstances but a person who looks for sense pleasure and thinks sense objects is going to give happiness to me always goes into depression, if he does not get pleasure from an objects or person. And the secret of satisfactions is to see opportunity in every aspects whether it is success or failure. Many of us become happy when we get success but become sad when failure comes in our life. We must remember one thing, in our life success and failure is not going to stay forever with anyone. A very successful person has to face even failure sometimes in his life. A satisfied person knows it very well, that is why he does not goes in to depression for his failure but he learn from it and move on. A very beautiful quotes by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, "Don't read success stories, yo

Be Humble - Time can change everything

When we get name, fame and power we puffed by the false ego and become arrogant to the people and think no one is greater than me. But our history says, who were arrogant, time has collapsed all of them. None of us can say, I can beat the time and can go against it. We all are under control of Time as Lord Krishna has already stated in the Bhagwad Gita (I am the time and eveything is under my control). But due to our false ego we do not accept this fact become arrogant with other people instead of becoming humble with them. Who was "King of Good times" now became "King of bad times", so easily we can understand time make us King or Beggar. So we should be always being humble with the people in our Good times and take blessings from them for our bad times, but we do exactly opposite of it, we become arrogant in Good times and seek for blessings in our bad times. But what is the use of it, when you hurt someone, you lose sympathy from that person's heart.
