Importance of Guru in our life

First of all I would like to wish you all a very happy Guru Purnima. Guru Means who bring us from darkness to light and give us the true knowledge. In our Vedic Culture there was concept of Gurukula and every disciples used to stay and serve his spiritual master but due to modernization everything has been changed and now there is no concept of Guru and Disciples.

Guru gives us transcendental knowledge the knowledge which we can not achieved by our own. Now a days people are trying to be more intelligent but they don't want to server their spiritual master therefore  they are only getting information but no knowledge. So we must understand the importance of Guru in our life. In Bhagwad Gita Lord Krishna has already explained the process of how one should go and surrender to his Guru and get benefit of true knowledge.

And one should never accept Guru just for fashion but to accept and follow his instructions to get rid of Birth and Death cycle.

उपदेक्ष्यन्ति ते ज्ञानं ज्ञानिनस्तत्त्वदर्शिनः ॥ 4.34 ॥

Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized souls can impart knowledge unto you because they have seen the truth.

The path of spiritual realization is undoubtedly difficult. The Lord therefore advises us to approach a bona fide spiritual master in the line of disciple succession from the Lord Himself. No one can be a bona fide spiritual master without following this principle of disciple succession. The Lord is the original spiritual master, and a person in the disciple succession can convey the message of the Lord as it is to his disciple. No one can be spiritually realized by manufacturing his own process, as is the fashion of the foolish pretenders.

I put my humble obeisances unto lotus feet of my spiritual master who can only give us the liberation from bondage of this material world.

Happy Guru Purnima.

Nectar in the beginning but Poison in end

He was young and belonging from rich family, he entered into the compartment and seated next to me.  Long and stylist hair, branded watch on wrist, iPhone in hand but he was loosing his control. Started abusing someone on phone and shouting out very louder, people was looking at him.  He was fully drunken and started vomiting, people thrown out him out of train and he slayed down at platform. Story is not over yet, I was thinking is this our modern education we are providing to our children and in the name of facilities we are giving them huge money, branded gadgets, but being an guarding do we ever try to esquire what they do and, which type of association they keep?  Once these things comes in their hands they start thinking, no one is greater than me and due to false ego they disrespect elder people.  But one thing they forget, disrespecting elder people only harmful to them because elderly people only teach them morality and good lesson. And being an elder person...
