Spiritual Power vs Material Power

There are two types of power, one is Spiritual and another is Material. Material power are available in this world for the people who really want to achieve it but Spiritual power is gift of God and it is one kind of mercy to the devotees from the God.

Material power brings false ego with it but spiritual power brings humility. When people get material power they puffed up from false ego and thinks there is no one equivalent to him. Material power is one type of illusory energy of God but people think I am the master of it.

Spiritual power gives devotees opportunity to serve Lord by that power and apply it for welfare of others but Material power gives selfishness and develop acquiring others tendency in mind.

Spiritually powerful devotees become more satisfied but Materially powerful person always seems to be unsatisfied and his mind become restless.

Here I am going to share you one example where you can easily understand what the power of both. When War was about to start from Lord Rama and demon King Ravana, Lord Rama sent Angada as an messenger to warn Ravana finally and if he will not agree then we start war.

Angada went to Ravana's palace but Ravana did not even offer sit to Annaada due to his false ego and thinking himself more powerful. Angada understood Ravana's situtaton and he warned Ravana to return mother Sita else ready to be the cause of destruction of your whole empire.

In anger Ravana told his ministers catch this monkey and kill him. Angada humbly told Ravana, if you think you can harm me then all of you can try to your strength by just shaking my leg, if you are able to that I am giving you promise on behalf of Lord Rama we will return from Lanka without even mother Sita.

Hearing this everyone tried but failed to move Angada leg and finally Ravan went and when Ravana tried to catch the leg of Angada, Angada immeditely pulled his leg back and Ravana's crown fall down on earth,

So, from this incident we can learn Ravana was so powerful and his son Meghnada was even the great warrior but Angada chhallanged and no-one was able to shake the leg of Angada. Where that confidence came to Angada to challange to Ravana even Angada was aware of Ravana's power?

The answer is, because Angada was having spiritual power in the form of blessing of Lord Rama but Ravana was having material power and physical strength and that is why he was puffed up with false ego and unable to understand the spiritual power.

Happiness is inversely proportional to our requirements

Today's culture is to accumulate things more and more to become happy, people think how much we fulfill our requirements that much we will be happy. The whole world is producing a new-new things everyday on the demand of people. We see our consumption are never ending, that is why there is a big problem in supply and demand equation. People need more and supply is less in proportion to their demands. But in ancient time it was not there people were having very less requirements to live their life, even they were full of resources. Philosophically they were very much aware that our requirements can never be fulfilled instead how much we increase our requirements that much our life will be miserable. For example two people are travelling one is having a simple light weight bag and other one is with full heavy 5-6 bags. Who can enjoy the journey? Very simple the person who has light bag, because that person has no burden on his head how can I carry it with, I have not much valuable in...
