Ramayana - The Story of Lord Rama

We are going to celebrate Ram Navami - the appearance day of Lord Rama on coming 2nd of April. And our National Channel also has started broadcasting of Ramayana once again so at least new generation can also take flavor of our Vedic culture and importance of it.

Ramayana means Ram-Ayana its Ram-The supreme enjoy-er and Ayana means place so it means the place where we can live happily and enjoy, so it's shelter of only Lord Rama's lotus feet without taking shelter of Lord Rama, we can not keep our self happy and it is impossible.

But, unfortunately we are trying to be happy without Lord Rama in our life and thinking our self smart and result we become more miserable. Most of the people believe it's myth and there is no truth behind it, So for their kind information, it's not a mythological story, mythological story can only give you momentum pleasure but this Ramayana is giving you eternal pleasure since more than 100 thousands of years and still we are not only just reading but keeping full faith on it.

It is true if we follow Ramayana and its principle in our life we will never be in any situation which creates trouble for us. The Lesson we learn from each and every characters from Ramayana is very much powerful and have meaning in our life.

In one of the incident while asking way to Lanka from Sea God Lord Rama kept three days fasting and praised Sea God but Laxmana did not like it instead he wanted to Lord Rama to show his power instead of asking way from Sea God.

Lord Rama smiled and told Laxmana, "My dear Laxmana, carrying Bow and Arrow does not mean we should always show our power to everyone instead we must be humble while we have power then only people will give you respect else you will be arrogant and if required then we should use our power."

Even we see how Lord Rama asked Ravana if he surrender to Lord Rama He will forgive him although after so much of struggle building the bridge when he reached in Lanka, so we can understand the compassion of Lord Rama.

Lord Rama in none other than Lord Narayana himself but He was living a human life to give us the lesson how a human being should follow his path in his life to make a good society and culture.

Lord Rama rulled over earth for 11,000 of years and that was the time where everyone was living a happy and peaceful life as in Sri Ramcharit Manas Tulsidas Baba also stated;

दैहिक दैविक भौतिक तापा। राम राज नहिं काहुहि ब्यापा।।
सब नर करहिं परस्पर प्रीती। चलहिं स्वधर्म निरत श्रुतिनीती।।

Even now a days people talk about Ram Rajya, so we can understand the importance of Rama Rajya and if we try to cultivate little love towards Lord Rama surely it will come back again and there will no threefold miseries (Adhi bhautika, Adhi daivika, Adhyatmika).

So, simply by reciting Ramayana one can free from miseries of this material world and achieve his Goal without any obstacles.

Jai Shri Ram.

Nectar in the beginning but Poison in end

He was young and belonging from rich family, he entered into the compartment and seated next to me.  Long and stylist hair, branded watch on wrist, iPhone in hand but he was loosing his control. Started abusing someone on phone and shouting out very louder, people was looking at him.  He was fully drunken and started vomiting, people thrown out him out of train and he slayed down at platform. Story is not over yet, I was thinking is this our modern education we are providing to our children and in the name of facilities we are giving them huge money, branded gadgets, but being an guarding do we ever try to esquire what they do and, which type of association they keep?  Once these things comes in their hands they start thinking, no one is greater than me and due to false ego they disrespect elder people.  But one thing they forget, disrespecting elder people only harmful to them because elderly people only teach them morality and good lesson. And being an elder person...

Lord Shiva - A Pure Vaishnava

Most of the people take Lord Shiva in another way by intoxicating themselves and whatever they want for their own sense gratifications, but Lord Shiva has a very unique quality and he always busy in the welfare of others as we can see how He drank poison and saved entire world and keep chanting Lord's holy name to please Lord Krishna. But unfortunately these qualities of Lord Shiva we never want to see and implement in our own life. In Srimad Bhagwatam (12.13.16) it is mentioned: निम्नगानां यथा गङ्गा देवानामच्युतो यथा । वैष्णवानां यथा शम्भु: पुराणानामिदं तथा ॥ १६ ॥ Just as the Ganga is the greatest of all rivers, Lord Acyuta the supreme among deities and Lord Sambhu [Lord Shiva] the greatest of Vaishnavas, so Srimad-Bhagavatam is the greatest of all Puranas. It is said that, "If someone left his body in Kashi then he is liberated and the reason behind it is when people die Lord Shiva goes and chant Krishna's holy name in their ear." I am sharing a very nic...
