People around me are not so Good?

Often we blame to the people around us they are not so good and how can we tolerate them? But if we are good then this world also looks good just we have to see with glass of compassion, tolerance, devotion, faith and trust.

Here is one small incident I am going to share you from the Ramayana. Vibhishana the younger brother of Ravana the demon king of Lanka was a great devotee of Lord Rama and he always used to chant Lord's holy name and remember pastimes of the Lord all the times.

In Lanka people were full of demonic nature and they were fully involved in meat eating, intoxication, gambling and illicit sex, except Vibhishana.

Even Tulsidas Baba has mentioned the citizens of Lanka in Sri Rama Charit Manas:

लंका निसिचर निकर निवासा। इहाँ कहाँ सज्जन कर बासा।।

Once news spread-ed all over Lanka that Vibhishana is writing the name of Lord Rama on his wall and when Ravana heard about it he personally went to see Vibhishana. After seeing Lord Rama's name on wall Ravana became so angry and shouted on Vibhishana, "How dare you to write the name of my enemy on wall in my own kingdom?"

Vibhishana with folded hand replied to Ravana, "My dear brother, how can I dare to write name of your enemy and your enemy is my enemy, you see it properly I am writing Rama, Ra-means Ravana, Ma-means Mandodari, I keep writing name of beloved brother and your wife to please you."

Hearing this Ravana became very happy and returned back to his palace.

So, here we can see although Lanka was very miserable place to live a person like Vibhishana but he was happily living over there just because he was under protection of Lord's holy name and we see how Hanuman Ji met Vibhishana and helped him to meet Lord Rama.

So, whoever people stay around us does not matter if we keep focused on Lord's holy name then definitely Lord will protect us from all the bad qualities. Instead of blaming people we should focus on our own improvement.

Lotus is the most beautiful flower but it grows in the mud, so be like lotus although people around you are not so good but if you keep yourself happy you will always be most happiest person in the world.

Nectar in the beginning but Poison in end

He was young and belonging from rich family, he entered into the compartment and seated next to me.  Long and stylist hair, branded watch on wrist, iPhone in hand but he was loosing his control. Started abusing someone on phone and shouting out very louder, people was looking at him.  He was fully drunken and started vomiting, people thrown out him out of train and he slayed down at platform. Story is not over yet, I was thinking is this our modern education we are providing to our children and in the name of facilities we are giving them huge money, branded gadgets, but being an guarding do we ever try to esquire what they do and, which type of association they keep?  Once these things comes in their hands they start thinking, no one is greater than me and due to false ego they disrespect elder people.  But one thing they forget, disrespecting elder people only harmful to them because elderly people only teach them morality and good lesson. And being an elder person...

Happiness is inversely proportional to our requirements

Today's culture is to accumulate things more and more to become happy, people think how much we fulfill our requirements that much we will be happy. The whole world is producing a new-new things everyday on the demand of people. We see our consumption are never ending, that is why there is a big problem in supply and demand equation. People need more and supply is less in proportion to their demands. But in ancient time it was not there people were having very less requirements to live their life, even they were full of resources. Philosophically they were very much aware that our requirements can never be fulfilled instead how much we increase our requirements that much our life will be miserable. For example two people are travelling one is having a simple light weight bag and other one is with full heavy 5-6 bags. Who can enjoy the journey? Very simple the person who has light bag, because that person has no burden on his head how can I carry it with, I have not much valuable in...
