Out of Sight Out of Mind

Everyone in this material world looking for his sense gratification and today's culture is purely based on lust to attract the people to fulfill their sex desires. But one thing we must understand this lust is the door of Hell and the person who are engaged to fulfill his sense desires never be happy and always be unsatisfied and unsatisfied person can not live a peaceful life.

But this can be controlled by if we keep our self away from type of people who are involved into it, glamours, media, pornography, mix cultures etc. Because it is function of our mind until and unless it will not hear, see something about sense objects till the time it will be silent and won't disturb us. So better keep our self away from these things as and let mind be in stable condition.

I am going to share you a great story from Srimad Bhagwatam where we can learn from how "Out of Sight Out of Mind" really works and we can not protect our self from getting involved into sense gratification.

The story is about great Rishi Saubhari Muni who was doing his penance under water for 1000 years and was taken vow for austerity to keep away from material desires. One day while he was performing his austerity he saw male and female fish were involved in their sense gratification. By seeing this Rishi felt sensually agitated and felt from his Yoga and went to King Mandhata and asked to marry with all the 50 daughters for his sexual pleasure.

Later Saubhari Muni became regretful for his sensual momentum pleasure and immediately he accepted Vanprastha life and performed austerity to became a great Rishi.

So, from this story we can learn if a great Rishi like Saubhari Muni can fall down from his 1000 of years of austerity by seeing combination of fish then what to speak of us if we see movies, magazines, social medias etc.

So, the best way to prevent our self is to keep away from all these things and apply our mind in vedic scriptures, service of Lords, association of devotees.
