Don’t always looks for practical tips

Most of the time people used to ask, give me some tips for mind control and more on concentration so we can control our mind and keep our concentration very much on our task.

Sometimes we give some tips to them to follow then your mind will be under your control, you do this you will improve your concentration. But from inside I always think, are these tips will be applicable for all of them? Or more of them will be more confused and will be in more miserable condition than past while applying this to in their life.

So I got the final conclusion, we should not always look for practical tips, instead we should accept our own reality and try to do whatever I can do best in that situation to get the solution.

In class one of the students asked me, “I am unable to learn shloka because of lack of my concentration what do I do?” So I cannot give him practical tips to sit at one place and forcefully bring your mind under control and try to recite shloka and do this for 5 times sitting at one place and one fixed time and you will be able memorize it.

From this solutions this boy will be more frustrated and will never try to learn shloka in his whole life because he is always frustrated with his mind and when he try to do it forcefully it will be more dangerous for him, So I simply told him, “Not to worry, you just try to read it simply keep writing as many times possible and try to recall it and this way you will learn very soon.”

Most of us try to give practical tips for all the problems but we don’t know each and every individual condition.  What is the problem for you may not be the problem for other person, so the same way tips given for all may not work for every individual.

So, instead of looking for practical tips better know your strength and weakness do SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat) and work on it. Every individual has its own strength and weakness and that is the key point we can work upon.

There are simple ways, we can do it by:

a      Listen to your heart: In the current age we always reject voice of our heart, it is just because we are so much busy in social media and others medium where our voice of heart sounds very low, so we need to give pause and disconnect ourselves from social media and try to listen voice of our heart. There is super soul (Parmatma) sitting in our heart and if we listen His voice He will guide us as per our standards.

b      Selfless Service: Everyone in this world expects something from you but if you do selfless service you feel relax and calm. And this way you can purify your heart to get the knowledge of Wisdom.

c      Be Simple: There is a saying, “It is simple to be happy but very difficult to be simple.” It is very easy to say be simple but it is very difficult to implement in our real life. But if we try to do in our life, no more practical tips required to us.

d      Shelter of Krishna: Maya is chasing us but if we take shelter of Krishna that Maya will only help us to achieve our Goal because Maya can never oppose to Krishna but for that we have to take shelter of Krishna.

Nectar in the beginning but Poison in end

He was young and belonging from rich family, he entered into the compartment and seated next to me.  Long and stylist hair, branded watch on wrist, iPhone in hand but he was loosing his control. Started abusing someone on phone and shouting out very louder, people was looking at him.  He was fully drunken and started vomiting, people thrown out him out of train and he slayed down at platform. Story is not over yet, I was thinking is this our modern education we are providing to our children and in the name of facilities we are giving them huge money, branded gadgets, but being an guarding do we ever try to esquire what they do and, which type of association they keep?  Once these things comes in their hands they start thinking, no one is greater than me and due to false ego they disrespect elder people.  But one thing they forget, disrespecting elder people only harmful to them because elderly people only teach them morality and good lesson. And being an elder person...

Depression vs Satisfaction

There are two types of people live in this world, one who live a satisfied life and one who goes into depression when something goes wrong in their life. A satisfied person can stay happy all the time in any circumstances but a person who looks for sense pleasure and thinks sense objects is going to give happiness to me always goes into depression, if he does not get pleasure from an objects or person. And the secret of satisfactions is to see opportunity in every aspects whether it is success or failure. Many of us become happy when we get success but become sad when failure comes in our life. We must remember one thing, in our life success and failure is not going to stay forever with anyone. A very successful person has to face even failure sometimes in his life. A satisfied person knows it very well, that is why he does not goes in to depression for his failure but he learn from it and move on. A very beautiful quotes by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, "Don't read success stories, yo...
