A visit to GEV

Srila Prabhupada was very much concerned about modern life style and he always used to tell his disciples, only building temples are not enough to live a pure Krishna Conscious way of life along with it we must follow our Vedic Culture and in our Vedic Culture we were fully dependent on Cows and Lands but in modern age we have rejected both and result we are not getting healthy foods and milk products.

So we have to build Farm Communities where we can live a healthy life and in minimum amount of time we can produce grains, vegetables, fruits and milk products etc. and rest of the time they can do their devotional service.

Milk and Grains can not be produced in factories and for this we require Cows and Lands.

Govardhan Ecovillage is a project of International Society for Krishna Consciousness. The project is owned and managed by ISKCON Wada, Maharashtra.

It is the result of an ardent desire of H.H.Radhanath Swami Maharaj to fulfill the dream of his beloved guru, His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada

"To erect for the members and for society at large, a holy place of transcendental pastimes, dedicated to the personality of Krishna."

The best part of this Ecovillage is, it is the replica of Vindavana Dham so if someone can not visit Sri Vrindavana Dham can visit this place and enjoy the same.

It's the place where you can spent your day away from the noise and life race of the city and enjoy a peaceful life.

We are sharing our experice how we enjoyed our Holi in very spirtual way over there. We reached around 11 in morning by bus and after refreshment we immeditely visited the temple Sri Sri. Radha Vrindavan Bihari Gaur and after Darshan we went to beautiful temple Sri. Sri. Radha Madan Mohan.

After darshan of Sri Madan Mohan we visited to Sri Sri Radha Damodar temple where we heard the nice pastimes about Sri Sri Radha Madan Mohan, Sri Sri Radha Damodar and Sri Sri Radha Gopinath.

After Darshan of Sri Radha Damodar we went to Sri Sri Radha Raman temple and we heard a very sweet pasttimes of Sri Radha Raman how He converted himself from Shaligram Shila (Stone form) to a Diety in request of hist pure devotee Sri. Gopal Bhatta Gowswami and after that we went to Radha Gopinath and Radha Govind.

We started our Govardhan Parikarma and RadhaKund Shyamkund and the Govardhan itself come from Sri Vrindavan Dham and after completion of Govardhan Parikrama we were feeling hungry so we directly went to prasadam hall.

Prasadam was very delicious and we enjoyed it so much and after prasadam we scattered and people were enjoying in the lap of nature.

After break of 20 minutes we went to Nandgram and there we discussed about the past times of Nandgram and mostly heroes of Vrindavana Krishna and Balrama.

We back from Nandgram and enjoyed Holi with Radha and Krishna and after that we visited other places as there are more than 5000 temples and many more places in Vrindavana so its very difficult to mention name of each.

And end of the day we went to Yamuna Aarti and this was so special, we enjoyed so much. And finally it's time to come back we forgot our time and the time we spent was unforgettable.

If you are planing to go in your weekend, this is the best place where you can spend your day with nature with delecious food and quality time with your family.

Vrindavan Dham ki Jai.

Nectar in the beginning but Poison in end

He was young and belonging from rich family, he entered into the compartment and seated next to me.  Long and stylist hair, branded watch on wrist, iPhone in hand but he was loosing his control. Started abusing someone on phone and shouting out very louder, people was looking at him.  He was fully drunken and started vomiting, people thrown out him out of train and he slayed down at platform. Story is not over yet, I was thinking is this our modern education we are providing to our children and in the name of facilities we are giving them huge money, branded gadgets, but being an guarding do we ever try to esquire what they do and, which type of association they keep?  Once these things comes in their hands they start thinking, no one is greater than me and due to false ego they disrespect elder people.  But one thing they forget, disrespecting elder people only harmful to them because elderly people only teach them morality and good lesson. And being an elder person...

Depression vs Satisfaction

There are two types of people live in this world, one who live a satisfied life and one who goes into depression when something goes wrong in their life. A satisfied person can stay happy all the time in any circumstances but a person who looks for sense pleasure and thinks sense objects is going to give happiness to me always goes into depression, if he does not get pleasure from an objects or person. And the secret of satisfactions is to see opportunity in every aspects whether it is success or failure. Many of us become happy when we get success but become sad when failure comes in our life. We must remember one thing, in our life success and failure is not going to stay forever with anyone. A very successful person has to face even failure sometimes in his life. A satisfied person knows it very well, that is why he does not goes in to depression for his failure but he learn from it and move on. A very beautiful quotes by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, "Don't read success stories, yo...
