Where you focus energy goes there

Guru Dronacharya spiritual master of Kuru (Pandwas and Kaurvas) were always glorifying Arjuna about his focus and his energy in the right direction and being a good disciple in His Gurkul. But Duryodhana felt jealous of Arjuna and his talent.

Once Duryodhana came to Dronacharya and started accusing him of favoring Arjuna and ignoring the rest. To prove him wrong, Dronacharya placed a wooden bird on a branch and decided to put everyone through a simple test.

He gathered all his disciples and asked them to strike the eye of the wooden bird. But before doing this, he asked each one of them a question.

He first called and asked Yudhisthira, "What do you see there?"

Yudhishthira replied, "I see a wooden bird, the branch and the tree, the leaves moving and other birds."

Everyone else who followed also mentioned the same thing i.e tree, branch, bird, leaves etc. and Dronacharya asked them all to keep your bow & arrow down.

When it was Arjuna's turn, he confidently stated, "I can only see the eye of the bird."

Dronacharya smiled for he had been proven right. Everyone else had set their eyes on everything but Arjuna had set his eyes on his goal, the eye of the bird.

Basically, we feel sometimes others are growing why not me, but we forgot one thing where we put our focus our energy goes there. Arjuna puts his focus on only eye of the bird and his full energy goes there and he proved to be a good disciple and everyone knows no one can defeat Arjuna in the war as he is very focused on his target.

But we can see in today's youth they are not very much focused on their Goal instead they want everything at one time and that's the reason their mind always jump here and there like a mad monkey.

In the morning while I was travelling in train one college student was sitting next to me and he was studying something and in between he was playing songs from his mobile and not only this but also start chatting with his friend parallel.

So we can see how much we are distracted from electronic gadgets, media, gossips and finally we put our all energies into it and get nothing out of it.

I am not against Media and Gadgets but while doing one thing keep focus on that thing only don't try do multiple task at the same time, this way you can not focus and apply your energy into it.

If you continue doing what you are doing, you will be continue getting what you are getting because there is no substitute of your hard work and focus.

Nobody is going to live life for you, so you must do some action until you do not do any action in your life you will be like a lion awaiting dear to come in his mouth. You have to chose your own path, do not wait for something miraculous to be happening, but do miracle to the world with your hidden potential.

Everyone has his unique potential, but the only problem is we are not focusing on it. "Changing the Face" can change nothing. But "Facing the Change" can change everything. If you just blame people and the situation the whole life will be less for it, but if you try to change yourself and focus and put your energy in the right direction one day you will definitely achieve your Goal.

Nectar in the beginning but Poison in end

He was young and belonging from rich family, he entered into the compartment and seated next to me.  Long and stylist hair, branded watch on wrist, iPhone in hand but he was loosing his control. Started abusing someone on phone and shouting out very louder, people was looking at him.  He was fully drunken and started vomiting, people thrown out him out of train and he slayed down at platform. Story is not over yet, I was thinking is this our modern education we are providing to our children and in the name of facilities we are giving them huge money, branded gadgets, but being an guarding do we ever try to esquire what they do and, which type of association they keep?  Once these things comes in their hands they start thinking, no one is greater than me and due to false ego they disrespect elder people.  But one thing they forget, disrespecting elder people only harmful to them because elderly people only teach them morality and good lesson. And being an elder person...

Depression vs Satisfaction

There are two types of people live in this world, one who live a satisfied life and one who goes into depression when something goes wrong in their life. A satisfied person can stay happy all the time in any circumstances but a person who looks for sense pleasure and thinks sense objects is going to give happiness to me always goes into depression, if he does not get pleasure from an objects or person. And the secret of satisfactions is to see opportunity in every aspects whether it is success or failure. Many of us become happy when we get success but become sad when failure comes in our life. We must remember one thing, in our life success and failure is not going to stay forever with anyone. A very successful person has to face even failure sometimes in his life. A satisfied person knows it very well, that is why he does not goes in to depression for his failure but he learn from it and move on. A very beautiful quotes by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, "Don't read success stories, yo...
