Top 5 Leadership Qualities by Lord Rama

After attending so many corporate leadership training programs and project management training programs, I am now able to connect all these to Lord Rama's leading qualities, how He was a great leader and good project manager.

Leaders are not those who just care for himself to grow and exploit their people but leader are those who help their people to grow parallel and in his absence their people are able to manage the situation.

Leadership is not about personal relationship oriented but it's people oriented.

"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a true leader."

When Ravana heard that Lord Rama has reached in the seashore and trying to build a bridge to cross the sea, he laughed out loudly and said to his ministers, "Do you all think these monkeys can build that bridge to reach us?"

But Lord Rama applied Nala and Nila the two architect brothers who were talented in creating bridges and Hanuman and other monkeys started bringing big big stones and trees and there was one small squirrel she was also helping to Lord Rama by putting small dust particles of stones in the gaps between two stones and trying to fill the gaps so that stones can be fixed at one place.

We can see how Lord Rama applied his all the resources to engage happily in their task.

So here we are going to see top 5 qualities of Lord Rama and how can we also be a good leader by following this to in our life.

1. Individual Player:
Lord Rama always responsible to His duty by following His Father's instructions to go into exile for 14 years and give up the throne and fight with Ravana to get back to Mother Sita.
Everyone needs to be an individual player, whatever talent the person has, he has to polish it and should come-up with betterment and do the needful to prove it. Lord Rama was a prince, he has never been to the forest life, but if asked to go he never denied and accepted it. So in our life many times we also face the same situation, but instead of denying it, we must accept may be it will give us a good result, but most of them will reject this and only who has individual player quality will accept it.

2. Team Player:
Lord Rama has qualities to connect and establish relationship with everyone like Jatayu (Birds) and Sugriva (Monkey) & Vibhishana (Demon). So He played his Role as per circumstances and individual.
By this we can learn, how we can also manage to each individual by his nature and behavior. But the major mistake what we do is we put everyone in the same bucket and try to compare. So analyze the person and deal according to his nature and then you will be a good team player.

3. Team Leader:
Lord Rama proved a good Team Leader quality as we can see only group of monkeys He defeated Ravana even Ravana has very huge army.
A Good Team Leader knows each and every individual in his team, as every individual has unique talent, but we need to apply it in a proper way and guide them in the right direction. But If you ask a fish to climb on trees and monkey to swim in the river, the whole life they both can not complete their task. So assign tasks as per your resource capacity and tallent they have they must give you the proper result.

4. Engage Weakest Person in team:
Team Leader engages the weakest person from his team to be busy in his task, Lord Rama Kept even a tiny squirrel to be busy in building the Ramsetu bridge. By doing this we can not only utilize someone potentials, but also the person can feel good by his Team Leader behavior.

5. Visionary Leader:
A Leader should be vision full, If someone has no vision in his life, he will never get his target and be peaceful in life. Without vision there is no life, as it is said, If a human has no vision he is not a human but two leg animal.
We can learn from Lord Rama keeping His vision to give peace, love, happiness and make law and order perfect in His Kindgdom.

In the history and the future no one can compete Lord Rama being a good Leader, so if we follow His footprints surely we also can be a good leader and achieve our goal.

Nectar in the beginning but Poison in end

He was young and belonging from rich family, he entered into the compartment and seated next to me.  Long and stylist hair, branded watch on wrist, iPhone in hand but he was loosing his control. Started abusing someone on phone and shouting out very louder, people was looking at him.  He was fully drunken and started vomiting, people thrown out him out of train and he slayed down at platform. Story is not over yet, I was thinking is this our modern education we are providing to our children and in the name of facilities we are giving them huge money, branded gadgets, but being an guarding do we ever try to esquire what they do and, which type of association they keep?  Once these things comes in their hands they start thinking, no one is greater than me and due to false ego they disrespect elder people.  But one thing they forget, disrespecting elder people only harmful to them because elderly people only teach them morality and good lesson. And being an elder person...

Depression vs Satisfaction

There are two types of people live in this world, one who live a satisfied life and one who goes into depression when something goes wrong in their life. A satisfied person can stay happy all the time in any circumstances but a person who looks for sense pleasure and thinks sense objects is going to give happiness to me always goes into depression, if he does not get pleasure from an objects or person. And the secret of satisfactions is to see opportunity in every aspects whether it is success or failure. Many of us become happy when we get success but become sad when failure comes in our life. We must remember one thing, in our life success and failure is not going to stay forever with anyone. A very successful person has to face even failure sometimes in his life. A satisfied person knows it very well, that is why he does not goes in to depression for his failure but he learn from it and move on. A very beautiful quotes by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, "Don't read success stories, yo...
