Power of Association

We can judge a person by his association because a person accepts good or bad quality only by the association, that is the reason our scripture always remind us to choose our association very wisely.

There is one saying, "संग लेना है तो अच्छा संग लीजिये क्योंकि सुनार का कचरा भी बनिए के बादाम से महंगा होता है ".

If we are in good association and going to do something bad, people associated with us will stop us to do such thing and in Kaliyuga association has only power to save us from all kind of dangers and misdirection.

I am going to share you one of the story of great legend personality King Bharata the son of Rishabhdeva (incarnation of Lord Krishna).

Bharata Maharaja was known for his austerity, detachment and kind hearted person although he was a great King.

He took renunciation at very early age from his umpire and went for austerity in forest and started living a life of sage.

One day while he was taking bath in River Gandaki, He saw a female dear drinking water and suddenly she heard roar of a lion and jumped to the river and unable to reach other side and left her body.

But she left a child dear behind her and everything was happening in front of Bharata Maharaja eyes. He saved child dear from lion and started caring her and kept in his ashram.

He was too much attached with the child dear and one day child dear left the ashram and when Bharata Maharaja came and did not see the child dear, He thought it will be back soon but she did not come.

Bhrata Maharaja started worrying about child dear and forgot his austerity and devotional service and thus he gone mad and left eating, drinking and finally left his body by remembering child dear.

So, why I am sharing this story is because the person who left everything his family, society, people for his austerity and was detached from everything but got stuck in child dear.

He did nothing wrong by saving child dear as it was his duty as a human being but while doing this he forgot his ultimate duty of his life. It was happened because nobody was there to tell him, how to deal with that situation.

Here we can see Bharata Maharaja was not an ordinary person but due lack of association he also stuck in wrong decision. And one wrong decision spoiled his life and again he need to take birth.

So, from this story we can understand we should always be in a good association, so if we are going to do something people will advise us what is good and what is bad for us.

Because from our mind we cannot take proper decision and our one wrong decision can make our whole life miserable. And being in a great association makes people great. But how much intelligent we are, if we are not in the association we must be cheated somewhere by the illusion.

Association keep ourselves in safe zone and away from danger.

Nectar in the beginning but Poison in end

He was young and belonging from rich family, he entered into the compartment and seated next to me.  Long and stylist hair, branded watch on wrist, iPhone in hand but he was loosing his control. Started abusing someone on phone and shouting out very louder, people was looking at him.  He was fully drunken and started vomiting, people thrown out him out of train and he slayed down at platform. And being an elder person...
