Power of Forgiveness

In this material world many of us has been taught to take revenge out of rage to the person who we do not like for some reason and consider them as an enemy.

By keeping the fire of revenge in our heart all time we are burning slowely-slowely. If a person make himself angry, he carried a hot coal in his hand, so we can understand, if we are trying to harm someone, before that we harm our self only.

It's anger, false ego and envy who never allow us to forgive to another person instead it keeps telling us to be envious with that person always. I am going to share you a very nice story about power of forgiveness from Srimad Bhagwatam.

This is the story about a great king and devotee Maharaj Ambrish and great Sage Durvasha Muni. Maharaj Ambrish was a very pious king and always followed religious principles in his life and keep himself busy in devotional activities. He always keeps his senses busy in devotional activities, he used his tongue to taste only prasadam of God, he used his feet to go to temple, he used his nose to take fragrance of flowers offered to God and this way he always try to keep hearing glories of Lord Krishna.

Once Durvasha Muni visited to Maharaj Ambrish and day before Maharaj Ambrish had kept his fast on Ekadashi. Durvasha Muni along with his disciples went to take bath and Maharaj Ambrish was worried as there was break time of his fast and he was thinking if I break my fast before offering to guest it will be great offense. But his minister told to Maharaj Ambrish you can break you fast by taking water and this way there will be no offense.

Maharaj Ambrish did the same by taking little water he broke his fasting and suddenly Durvasha Muni came and saw Maharaj Ambrish with his red eyes and told, "how dare you to take something before offering to guest, you don't have any manner". Maharaj Ambrish gives excuses as there was break time passing on so that is why I just took only little water and please forgive me.

But due to anger Durvasha Muni cursed to Maharaj Ambrish and suddenly a gigantic demon appears and ran towards Maharaj Ambrish, Maharaj Ambrish prayed with his folded hands to Krishna.

Immediately Sudarshna Chakra appeared and killed the demon and started chasing to Durvasha Muni. Durvasha Muni ran to Brahmloka, Shivaloka and all other planets and ask for his protection but everyone told We cannot protect you from Sudarshna better you go to Lord Vishnu he can only help you.

Durvasha Muni immediately went to Vaikuntha to visit Lord Vishnu, he asked for his protection and told, "My dear Lord I am burning by the fire of Sudarshna Chakra, please help me." Lord Vishnu smiled and told to Durvasha Muni, "My dear sage, you have offended my devotee, if you have offended me I definitely saved you from this danger but if you want to save yourself you must go and ask for forgiveness to Maharaj Ambrish, he can only save you."

By listening this Durvasha Muni prayed to Lord Vishnu and back to Maharaj Ambrish and started praying to him and ask for forgiveness. Maharaj Ambrish told to Durvasha please don't do this as you are a great sage and worship able person.

Durvasha Muni felt ashamed and told to Maharaj Ambrish you are more superior than me as I showed my anger to you, but you didn't react on it and even after doing bad on you still you are kindness towards me.

So, this way we can understand if we try to forgive others instead of showing our anger, God will help us but too much intelligent and too much fool person will never try to understand this principle.

So always keep one person in your life who give you time to time feedback and tell you the power of forgiveness.

Nectar in the beginning but Poison in end

He was young and belonging from rich family, he entered into the compartment and seated next to me.  Long and stylist hair, branded watch on wrist, iPhone in hand but he was loosing his control. Started abusing someone on phone and shouting out very louder, people was looking at him.  He was fully drunken and started vomiting, people thrown out him out of train and he slayed down at platform. Story is not over yet, I was thinking is this our modern education we are providing to our children and in the name of facilities we are giving them huge money, branded gadgets, but being an guarding do we ever try to esquire what they do and, which type of association they keep?  Once these things comes in their hands they start thinking, no one is greater than me and due to false ego they disrespect elder people.  But one thing they forget, disrespecting elder people only harmful to them because elderly people only teach them morality and good lesson. And being an elder person...

Depression vs Satisfaction

There are two types of people live in this world, one who live a satisfied life and one who goes into depression when something goes wrong in their life. A satisfied person can stay happy all the time in any circumstances but a person who looks for sense pleasure and thinks sense objects is going to give happiness to me always goes into depression, if he does not get pleasure from an objects or person. And the secret of satisfactions is to see opportunity in every aspects whether it is success or failure. Many of us become happy when we get success but become sad when failure comes in our life. We must remember one thing, in our life success and failure is not going to stay forever with anyone. A very successful person has to face even failure sometimes in his life. A satisfied person knows it very well, that is why he does not goes in to depression for his failure but he learn from it and move on. A very beautiful quotes by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, "Don't read success stories, yo...
