Learning Lessons from Laxmana

Today I am going to share few qualities of Laxmana which most of the people are not aware of it. And If we try to implement few of it in our life definitely our relations are going to be perfect and we will be happy for sure.

When Lord Rama with Mother Sita and Laxmana were living in forest after their exile from Ayodhya, Laxmana promised to serve Lord Rama and Mother Sita and left Ayodhaya and His luxury. After some time when Sooparnkha came and proposed Lord Rama and Lord Rama refused saying I have taken vow to keep only one wife better you go to Laxmana and Laxmana also refused by giving his excuse that I am servant of My Brother so you will not get anything from me better you go and marry with Him only.

And this way Sooparnkha understood, these brothers are making fun of me and she run towards mother Sita and Laxmana cuts her nose and she went to Ravana and told about mother Sita and asked him to Kidnap Mother Sita and make his wife.

Ravana made plan to kidnap mother Sita with the help of his maternal uncle Maricha to become a golden dear and attract Mother Sita and this way Sita will ask to Rama to get this dear to me and you run.

Ravana's plan become successful and Lord  Rama runs behind golden dear and after chasing so much he thought let me finish her and he shot arrow and suddenly dear called with the name of Laxmana and Mother Sita. Mother Sita asked Laxmana to go and check your brother is in trouble. Laxmana told to Mother Sita, "My dear Mother you don't need to worry about Lord Rama it is some kind of trick to trap you." But Mother Sita started shouting on Laxmana and told go and check that's my order and this way Laxmana was confused whom order He should follow as Lord Rama has told to take care of Mother Sita and Mother Sita is telling me to go by leaving her.

But mother Sita told some words which Laxmana could not tolerate, so he left mother Sita and went to search Lord Rama. After seeing Laxmana Lord Rama started shouting on him, "Why are you here? Who is caring of Sita?" Laxmana told entire story why he left Mother Sita and come to Lord Rama, but Lord Rama got angry on Laxmana, "Why did not you follow my order, you have done a big mistake." and this way Lord Rama started chastising to Laxmana.

Laxmana was silently listening but did not speak a single word against Mother Sita and Lord Rama but accepted his mistakes even there was not mistakes of him.

This story we must have heard many times, but have we tried to learn lessons from this story and qualities about Laxmana.

If a person has left everyting for someone he loves and if that person blames even not for his mistakes, what do you think? Do you keep further relationship with that person?

Laxmana did not sleep for 14 years and was fully engaged in service of Lord Rama and Mother Sita and after that if Mother Sita and Lord Rama use bad words instead of giving awards, what do you feel? Are we not going to be angry and frustrate?

But Laxmana knew it, What Mother Sita did was also right because she loves Lord Rama and what Lord Rama did was also right because He can not live without Mother Sita. And in 14 years Lord Rama and Mother Sita has given me love of father and mother and if for one day if something happened wrong to me that does not mean they don't love me.

And after Killing Ravana when Mother Sita saw Laxmana she asked for forgiveness of her offend but Laxmana was even humbly said to Mother Sita, "My dear Mother, Mother can give punishment to her child so there is no offend in it."

So, from this story we can learn from Laxmana, if we want a loving relationship to be continued, we must forgive and forget and If you try to see one bad quality in a person then thousands of good qualities, you skip.
