Today's media is like Soorpankha of ancient time

In today's world media is playing a vital role in our life. We can see everywhere from child to old people everyone is busy in their own world.
I am not against the media and development but does it really worth to put our all the efforts in virtual world for sense pleasure which gives nothing but depression, tension, anxiety, away from reality. It is just an medium to take advantage of it and for whom it is useful it is ok but not for everyone.
As a knife is worth in doctor hand but worst in thief hand. Knife is ok but how we are using it that is more important?

I am going to share you story from Ramayana. When Lord Rama was in their exile along with Mother Sita and Laxman, Soorpankha a demonic nature lady (sister of Ravana) was freely roaming in jungle. When she saw Lord Rama,  because of her lusty desire she expressed her desire but Rama refused telling that I am already married you go Laxmana. She went to Laxmana and He also refused saying, I am the servant of my brother you will get nothing after marring me.

In this way Soorpankha got angry and attack mother Sita and then Laxmana cuts her nose and ears. This is the story everyone is familiar with this but I am going to tell how Soorpankha is like media and how she is creating dangers in everyone's life.

Ravana was peacefully living his life but when Soorpankha went over there and told Ravana about beauty of mother Sita and ask Him to go and get Her soon and enjoy his life.

In our life also we are living our life peacefully but Soorpankha (media) comes in our life and attract us to take me and enjoy your life but we can see how Ravana run behind mother Sita and lost his entire empire and his life also.

So when we see a nice advertisement we attract towards it and we spent our money, life and time everything in it but finally we don't get anything out of it.
We must beware of today's Soorpankha otherwise she will destroy our life. We should have courage to say no to it how Laxmana cut her nose and ears then only she gone away.

Hare Krishna!

Life is a preparation, death is an examination

We participate in so many exams in our life, and get the results as per our preparation for that exams. But most of the exams we have option, whether to attempt it or not? But there is one exam in our life which we may ignore saying we will see when it would come in our life, but we all have to attempt we don't have any choice, whether we are poor,  rich,  educated or illiterate. Srila Prabhupada used to say, this life is our preparation how we are preparing our-self for coming exam.  Because that exam has no prior time table, no time period, no grace marks, and no cheat sheet allowed. And you may be surprise to know, all our activities are recorded by Yamduta for our each and every moments with evidence. Yes, Yamduta will show your answer sheet and you can review it, whether he has marked you in correct way or not? You are successful, if you are passed your exams but if you are failed then you don't know when you will have to reattempt that exam (it could be after 84 laces bir

Depression vs Satisfaction

There are two types of people live in this world, one who live a satisfied life and one who goes into depression when something goes wrong in their life. A satisfied person can stay happy all the time in any circumstances but a person who looks for sense pleasure and thinks sense objects is going to give happiness to me always goes into depression, if he does not get pleasure from an objects or person. And the secret of satisfactions is to see opportunity in every aspects whether it is success or failure. Many of us become happy when we get success but become sad when failure comes in our life. We must remember one thing, in our life success and failure is not going to stay forever with anyone. A very successful person has to face even failure sometimes in his life. A satisfied person knows it very well, that is why he does not goes in to depression for his failure but he learn from it and move on. A very beautiful quotes by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, "Don't read success stories, yo

Be Humble - Time can change everything

When we get name, fame and power we puffed by the false ego and become arrogant to the people and think no one is greater than me. But our history says, who were arrogant, time has collapsed all of them. None of us can say, I can beat the time and can go against it. We all are under control of Time as Lord Krishna has already stated in the Bhagwad Gita (I am the time and eveything is under my control). But due to our false ego we do not accept this fact become arrogant with other people instead of becoming humble with them. Who was "King of Good times" now became "King of bad times", so easily we can understand time make us King or Beggar. So we should be always being humble with the people in our Good times and take blessings from them for our bad times, but we do exactly opposite of it, we become arrogant in Good times and seek for blessings in our bad times. But what is the use of it, when you hurt someone, you lose sympathy from that person's heart.
