Recognizing and accepting mistakes is the key to Success

It is the story of Ramayana, when Ravana kidnapped mother Sita and Lord Rama and Laxmana was searching for mother Sita. They met Sugriva king of Kiskindha who was also in the same situation, out of his own kingdom and away from his family and he agreed to help Rama to find mother Sita.

And in Return Lord Rama promised Sugriva, I will give your kingdom and family back to you. Lord Rama killed Sugriva's elder brother Bali and returned Sugriva his empire with his family.

After getting his kingdom and family back, Sugriva forgot his promise to Lord Rama and started enjoying his life. After few months Lord Rama sent Laxmana to go and check why Sugriva had not yet come. Out of anger Laxmana told to Rama, "My dear brother who does not fulfil his promise must be punished, I will kill Sugriva". Lord Rama asked Laxmana,"My dear brother you just go and remind Sugriva for his promise and if he does not remember then you can punish him."

When Laxmana entered the Kingdom of Sugriva with his anger, all the monkeys started going away and seeing this Sugriva's minister went to Sugriva and asked about Laxmana's anger and reminded Sugriva about his promise.

Sugriva accepted his mistakes and ask for forgiveness from Laxmana about he failed in his promise and ask Laxmana to give up His anger. And Sugriva asked his ministers to go and make an announcement, from all the sides soldiers to join us very soon.

This is the story everyone knows it very well, but what lesson we can learn from it? That is most important. We can learn from Sugriva a big lesson in our life, If we commit mistakes, we must accept.

And there are few people who accept their mistakes, but most of them blame others for their own mistakes.

Accepting mistakes make a person successful.

Life is a preparation, death is an examination

We participate in so many exams in our life, and get the results as per our preparation for that exams. But most of the exams we have option, whether to attempt it or not? But there is one exam in our life which we may ignore saying we will see when it would come in our life, but we all have to attempt we don't have any choice, whether we are poor,  rich,  educated or illiterate. Srila Prabhupada used to say, this life is our preparation how we are preparing our-self for coming exam.  Because that exam has no prior time table, no time period, no grace marks, and no cheat sheet allowed. And you may be surprise to know, all our activities are recorded by Yamduta for our each and every moments with evidence. Yes, Yamduta will show your answer sheet and you can review it, whether he has marked you in correct way or not? You are successful, if you are passed your exams but if you are failed then you don't know when you will have to reattempt that exam (it could be after 84 lac...

So we can see it is not fixed at some point we think if we get that thing I may be successful but after getting it into our definition of success got changed. Success is...
