Freedom means Danger

In the modern age, we are trying to be liberated from all the bondage and want to be free. Students want teacher free education, citizen wants government free civilization and son wants father free enjoyment.

I am going to share you a nice story about freedom.

There was a boy he wanted to be free from all the disciplines of his father as his father used to tell him what to do and what not to do. As he has grown up, he went to his higher education in a foreign country and after finishing his study and he got a job over there.

He thought now I am free, I can spend my money where I want to be and this way he was very much happy. But all sudden he got letter of his father and there was mentioned, "My son, I am very glad you got job salary of 50,000 $ p/m, you can keep 5000 $ for your own expenses and rest send it to me."

After reading this he got shocked and thought how I am unlucky I can not enjoy my own money where I want, as others are enjoying. He was very upset, but as per his father's instruction he took only 5000 $ and rest money he sent to his father.

After a few years his father called him for his marriage and ask him to come. He came to India for his marriage and he married with a beautiful girl chosen by his father.

The father called his son and told him, "My dear son, I am now retired from my duty and now it's your responsibility to take care of this house and gave him a packet."

He asked his father, "What is this?" His father replied, "My son! This is your money which you were sending me every month." His son asked, "But why you have not given me that time?"

His father replied, "My son, that time you were not be able to understand the value of it and that money can spoiled your life but now you are mature, you can handle it properly.

On listening this his son's eyes were filled with tears and he hugged his father, saying," I am sorry dad, I did not understand you as I was thinking for my own freedom.

A child always tries to be free, but mother never lets children go and if the child goes somewhere she keeps an eye, what my child is doing.

When we feel free we do all nonsense things. That is why today most of the students are taking advantage of freedom and being addicted to drugs, alcohols, smoking and bad habits.

Basically, our nature is to be under control as we are under control of three modes of nature Satva, Rajas and Tamas. Most of the times we are in Rajas, but we should always be careful to uplift our self from Rajas to Satva but if we fail to do so, we go under Tamas and that makes our life dangerous.

And If we try to keep our self in Satva then we will be humble and in discipline and this way we will never take advantage of the freedom.

Moral of the story is, freedom only drag you in danger zone, so if you are under someone you always will be protected.
